windoes sevin is the sheet man, get et.
am i the only one who has never had a problem with vista?
Yes.
vestur is shits. sevin maeks hapeynez
No seriously, Windows 7 is the best thing Microsoft has done for a while.
I tried 7; did’nt like it. Maybe thats because I have XP Vision. Which seems to be what I’m used to. But in Windows 7 defence; it appears to be faster than vista, and thats just from my experience with the vista demo – which sucked.
Vista is crap!
Vista was atleast pretty, XP makes me feel like gouging my eyes out, always has. Win 7 has a few extras when it comes to looks, but basically it is a software overhaul of Vista.
Oh, they did fucked up the Network/ Shared files and stuff. Something that totally pissed me off for both Win 7 and on a lesser degree Vista. Stupid new system involving homegroups and shit.
No. Honestly, I use Vista. To be quite honest, the difference between vista and Windows seven, atleast to me are the bells and whistles. They pretty much look the same otherwise. atleast to me. Vista has everything I need. There will be a day I need to upgrade but until I actually do (which will be the day they stop making games for Vista), I will. shrugs
I got a free Windows 7 upgrade when I bought my new PC. In my opinion its better than Vista, simply because there aren’t as many annoying security prompts. They still pop up from time to time, but not as frequently. The only thing I miss from XP is the fact that Morrowind just doesn’t run the same on Vista and 7. That’s why I keep an extra hard drive with XP on it. Just to play Morrowind. Other than that, Windows 7 is much less of a head ache.
I turned the security prompts off on vista. I figure I have a good enough virus protection/spyware protection that I don’t need it.
I never had any problems on my Vista installation, but I must say Windows 7 feels faster and smoother.
after the service packs, vista is a pretty solid OS. Before that, not so much.
I liked Terminator Salvation
Vista needed service packs to finally be decent. Windows 7 was decent as early as the public betas.
But let’s be technical, Windows 7 is basically an upgraded Vista.
Doesn’t W7 have bad performance in comparison to XP or Vista? No drastic decreases in performance… but just somewhat worse performance.
Windows 7 runs like XP but looks like Vista.
And in terms of boot time, frequently used programs load time, general system slowdown over time, it rapes both Vista and XP.
My dual boot XP/7 used to be faster to load XP, now XP loads twice slower and 7 still takes the same time as when it was fresh.
