The Vista Black Screen of DEATH!

Okay, some of you have heard of this, some of you may have not,
but I’ve currently the Vista Black Screen… of DEATH! (Cue the overly-dramatic music).

Actually, it’s not that bad. It just takes an ungodly amount of time to load explorer.exe, and in that time I’m usually taking a shower. Nonetheless, I want to get rid of it. I’ve read in many forums that if I can find the Vista Media disk that it is repairable… But… I can’t find it, and I don’t want to have to use my recovery disks and lose all my saved games, and files.

Anyone have some suggestions, or should I just suck it up? :meh:

Get Windows 7.

Huh. I don’t have any problem with Vista, in fact it runs faster then my XP computer

Just remember what my uncle used to tell me, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. In other words, don’t update the BIOS.

I can just replace Vista with Windows 7 and it will fix itself? :mono:

Yeah it will.

Just backup whatever important files you have into a dvd or thumb drive and do a clean of install of Windows 7 up on that shizzle.

DO EET FAGGOT!

Windows 7 sucks shit no offence guys.

Explain why. I feel like having a laugh.

same here, saying windows 7 is shit is like saying Terminator Salvation was good.

I could have sworn they were good though… :frowning:

As everyone else has said…

If you don’t want to buy or pirate Windows 7, just backup your files (save games, personal documents, etc) and do a clean install of Vista.

But Windows 7 > Vista. A lot.

cuzwin dews viesta has more gigahard-drives. nd i like it better tbh

[COLOR=‘Black’]I’m just upset because I still don’t have 7. :’(

This coming from the Retard who reportedly shit in a cabinet b/c he clogged the toilet.

Screw you. You wouldn’t understand unless you were there. > :frowning:

Except his songs ARE good.

Anyways, get Windows 7.

dont be hatin on eminem or 7

but actually vista isn’t too far behind 7 after all service packs are installed, but still, it sounds like a clean install is ur best bet and u might as well upgrade to the superior os windows 7
