UK system, the order being 1, 2:1, 2:2 and 3. 1 being the highest award.

we use British system here as well, but the highest award is 4.1

i prefer GPA, gives a nice contextual system. Not to say that one isn’t, but with only 4 options, it doesn’t really give you a very good idea of how close you are to what ranking or whether or not your hard work has paid off. For example, this semester, I went from a 2.7 to a 3.0 cumulative GPA. While I am proud of my improvement, minor as it may be, that wouldn’t have shown up (probably would have been a 2:1, I’m guessing) as a difference in the British system.

Or am I woefully ignorant?

Well, we’re talking proper university graduation not high school so not really comparable. 4 grades is fine at this level.

The US still has the GPA system for university students I believe.

Just got back from a 4 day trip to the catskills with some friends. It was a pretty awesome hiking trip, and I got to climb a mountain.

You were roughly 2 hours drive from my house.

I can’t post this in ylyl, I can’t even laugh

So I was just idly browsing an old website and noticed a few comments that I found particularly amusing or agreeable. About ten minutes later, I logged into my old account, and in looking through my comment history realized that some of those comments had in fact been made by me two years ago.

Power was out all day for me. It went out while I was in the middle of playing MGS2. I had played for about 3 hours without saving and now have to do it all again.

I always do that on youtube. Stumble across an old video where the top comment I agree with completely, then look at the username and see it was mine :retard:

I was reading a topic on another forum that had been bumped years after the initial posts were made, and was about to post a joke replying to one comment, and then saw a few posts later that I had already made that same joke so many years ago :stuck_out_tongue:

It was my birthday yesterday, if anyone cares.

no one cares

i don’t even care about my own birthday

happy birthday!

Thanks!

but happy birthday nonetheless
