I think I saw someone mention that the first movie will supposedly be based off of a popular novel, but I have no source, so it’s probably just false.

Well nobody specified when that trilogy’s gonna take place but since it’s EP7-8-9, we can bet it’s after ROTJ.
It should be a big moment of the new era like Thrawn’s return or the bacta war. Too much happened between the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and ROTJ to connect both episode correctly.
If they start at the Young Jedi Knights all the way to Legacy of the Force then I could totally forgive them. Otherwise, UNACCEPTABLE.

It better be the Bacta War, chronologically didn’t that take place before the Legacy of the Force anyway?

Well, I’ve read that they’re estimating the repair costs have gone into the billions, so that probably won’t help things. Not to mention the whole subway system in NY being out of order which would affect a lot of businesses. I think they had to close down the NYSE for a few days as well, so that would surely have some impact.

Ordered this because I always loved watching those on TV when I was a wee lad.
And since I’m learning Swedish, I figured having those books in Swedish makes sense (best way to learn a language is to read children’s books/comics!).
All I understand from there is ‘series’. Does this mean I know Swedish too? 
Well then sucks to be you, because I’ve been told that the original books are actually rather adult, and that most of the TV adaptations were horrible misinterpreting butcherings of the source material.
Still, they’re supposed to be good, so have fun, I should probably check them out myself at some point.

Well, I don’t really know, I’m not speaking from first hand experience and I may be talking out of my arse, but that’s just what I’ve heard. It’s possible that the adult stuff is actually just concerning themes and characterisation and all that, the surface could still be made in a simple manner.

They change it up between mig and mej, I’ve noticed.
I’ve learned it as ‘mig’, but I figured it had something to do with dialect (the Fennoswede dialect maybe, considering Tove Janssons was a Fennoswede?).
I don’t really know about how Finns do it, but around here “mej” is just used by people who simply can’t spell properly and try to do it phonetically, I highly doubt it’s ever correct.

I was worried about a tree falling on me as I slept on Monday night, but nothing did fall in our yard. We escaped unscathed. Until…
Downed trees, downed power lines, exploded transformers (right AFTER the power went out), the town was a mess. I drove to the office on Tuesday morning to see a lot of damage in a very small area, no power where my office is (which is also back on now), no gas stations open, or when they do open it is only for a short time before they run out of gas again (supposedly one of the tankers had a police escort), and now I am stuck in the house even though we have power back just because I am waiting for the next gas station to open up tomorrow.
My boss is also out of power, and I am wondering if he has it back yet, or when I will really get back to work.
I haven’t seen porn since Monday, and with my parents sitting on the couches behind me, I wonder when I will again…
