I always thought that praying to a god of any type will inherently boost self confidence in one’s abilities and make it therefore easier to complete the desired task.
Of course, I guess we can never really know for sure. I’m never one to shit on someone’s acquisition of faith, seeing as I myself am a spiritual agnostic. I actually respect when one finds religion. So yeah, don’t listen to these ultra-atheists who think they’re too cool for faith. Do what you do.
I don’t mind belief in a creator, but when people attribute their accomplishments to it I find that a bit… Off… I don’t get it. Modesty is one thing, but dismissing your self from the equation? “God got me here.” No, you did. You and the people around you.
I didn’t do a single thing though, I’m not married yet guys, I’ve only just met her. 
Anyways, it’s the circumstances around all of this that has me spooked. If this girl up and disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn’t be changing my tune any.
In other news, after a week of almost non stop rain, we finally get a day that is cold enough to snow and it is bright and sunny instead.

They’re pretty hard to come across, couldn’t find anywhere that had them in medium so I had to get a large.
I always thought of getting it too, it’s really nice. Also, wash it and dry it at high temperatures and it will become medium

I know the subject has moved on, but Rot… I wanted to throw my two cents in and let you know that I met my husband under the same sort of “wow, how amazing and coincidental is this?” type situations. As a matter of fact, he wasn’t even a Christian at the time and even he was thinking the same thing. Basically we both longed for a perfect mate, and found it in each other. A LOT of things had to happen in order for not only the meeting to happen, but to finally be the perfect fit for each other, but when it did… WOW! And after 22 years, he still is the most wonderful thing ever to have been given to me and I still cant believe I am so blessed … or ‘lucky’ as others may claim it.
