I don’t even know why I’m telling you guys this, I guess it’s cause through these last six years you’ve been my best friends, whether you wanted to be or not. I’m not going into great detail, but I am potentially a couple years away from having everything I have ever wanted in my life.

Also, not going into great detail, but I want you all to know that God is real. The stuff that has happened lately, regardless of where my life goes from here has me convinced. I know I’m throwing pretty much all of whatever “good” reputation I had here away by saying this, but I feel it needed to be said.

Anyways… yep. This is pretty much me not believing what’s happened in the last few weeks. You can go back to your stuff now. :awesome:

Really, what I want is simple and very normal: I want to get married. Recently I’ve met someone, which in and of itself isn’t particularly spectacular to normal human life either. What really gets me, is the extraordinary circumstances of it all, which I really don’t want to go into detail because it has to do with some very personal things, I know some people(irl) who occasionally visit these forums and you all would not believe me anyways, I know I never could be bothered with all that testimonial crap either. :stuck_out_tongue:

Basically was this: I was in some rough shape, I prayed for something fairly absurd which seemed silly and pointless at the time, and it has recently happened with scary accuracy.

Also Acade, I don’t think it has to do with any master plan. I say “regardless of where my life goes from here” and I mean entirely whether I botch things up or not. I’m not into that fate stuff. :slight_smile:

I don’t know why so many people need to pass the good things that happen in their lives as acts of god. Can’t you just take credit for your own successes already? You did it (you and your mate in this case), not some ephemeral being.
