I’d hang it on a wall in my living room. Or better yet, hang it in the entrance hall, so even the pizza delivery guy can marvel at it.

Also: preparing for my trip to Stockholm this weekend. The little doomsayer in my head says I’ll get lost somewhere between the airport and the hotel. All is cool though, planning to move to Sweden anyway, might as well just burst into it all unannounced and shit.

You would think that a town with a name like “Sunnydale” wouldn’t have much in the way of a vampire problem.

You’ve almost made it to the 21st century Pyro.

perhaps you can pay Fnork a visit

Not sure if want.

I never realized how old my Core 2 Duo E6600 has become, until I got my Q9550! :stuck_out_tongue:

I quite like my Q9550 too. It’s one of the best CPU my mobo’s socket can handle, so I gotta hold on to it anyways lol

This photograph of a fourth grade “science quiz” went viral last week, nfortunately, it seems as though it is. Snopes has managed to track down a parent whose daughter was given this quiz, who said:

"I didn’t know that this was being taught to her until we heard a radio commercial together about the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit was coming to the TD Convention Center [in Greenville, South Carolina].

The Commercial starts out, “After 65 million years, the dinosaurs have returned …” She commented immediately that it was only four thousand years ago. When I corrected her, she snapped back, “Were you there?”"

I’m going to cringe so hard that my teeth break. Fire that teacher.

As fake as Michael Douglas’ face.

why would the handwriting be different between the answers to questions 11 and 12 and 13 if that was real? does the kid have multiple personalities?

I don’t think such a teacher would ever be approved for a public school, but a private school maybe.

I’m riding the BS train at the moment, however.

Do you Americans actually combine Science and Religion to one lesson?

My school experience didn’t. We were very non-religious and well balanced in our educations.

Not that I know of. I believe the trends in my country are turning away from religion in public schools. Private… not sure, can’t say.

I was home schooled. Didn’t get exposed as much to that crap. Being agnostic has its perks.

No

They most certainly don’t.

I attended Christian schools, and the science and religion classes were completely separate.

Pretty sure Texas does.

oh, Texas

I…I…no. That’s not how you teach science. Or religion.(/Christianity)

Who the hell would give someone like that a teacher’s license? Education and religion are supposed to be kept separate, like religion and state. One is based off 100% provable facts, while the other is faith, and besides that, religion (or lack thereof) should be a personal choice, not something shoved down your throat by someone else.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
