The winter sale? That’s convenient, because I just got $200 as a gift from my grandmother.

Edit: Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up Dead Space 1 and/or 2.

Probably not going to get too much. I have too many games to play as it is.

Yeah, I should be more picky or I’m going to end up with $200 worth of games I can’t run.

Anyone know if Dead Space 2 and Metro 2033 have comparable system requirements? I’m guessing no.

I heard that DS2 is amazingly optimized.

Hmm.

Guess I’m going to buy it then.

Metro 2033 can only be compared to the first Crysis or the GTA4 PC port in terms of optimization.

Point taken.

By the way, does anybody remember that site where where you can see what the dollar value of your steam library is?

Edit: I need to stop asking questions that I can answer myself.

You can also see how much you’ve played versus your friends, how much of your library you’ve actually played, and other such metrics here.

HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS

Hope you get better from that ass cold.

Kung fu christmas party was last night. It was a fun night out that I really needed.

Was Dead Island that one that was fun but not well put together or was it that one that was an utter disappointment in every single way?

Well, that depends on your personal preferences and standards, does it not?

That’s a good way to answer if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Dead Island had some fantastic potential that was left mainly untapped.
The campaign is okay and the character development… Really isn’t there, at all. But the open world, resources, craftable weaponry, and skill sets are actually a pretty nice touch.

So what you mean to say is that the game is fun enough to be purchased at six dollars if you were planning to coop kill some zombies casually?

EDIT: If I have to ask whether a game is worth six dollars…

Buy it at 6 bucks, any game can be fun with friends. Borderlands for example is a completely shitty game imo but its still fun because my friends make it fun.

Well actually Borderlands was the final straw that decided me against it. :stuck_out_tongue: I know alot of people loved borderlands, I thought it was unbelievably boring, even in coop it was just “run here and shoot this so you can get that and shoot this other thing with it”.

^ THANK YOU. I have tried to tell Borderlands loving friends this and no one ever believed me.

I felt like that the first time someone explained minecraft to me. You find stuff so you can make stuff to find better stuff to make better stuff ad nauseum.
