This game is seriously the fuckinā€™ tits. Honestly, it surpassed my expectations. Good fucking show.

After eight years, I was worried that all that time spent would ultimately lead to an alright modification, a good recreation but not much more.

Needless to say, it was blasphemous to think that. From the tram ride, to the new ways to be a dick before the shit hits the fan (the new dialogue was fucking brilliantā€¦I chuckled allowed to much of what was said, and I never do that while playing a game), to the innovative additions made by the devs, to the gameplay alterations which make sections I hated (OAR, for instance) into some of my favorite parts of the HL universeā€¦all quite amazing. Animations are killer, enemy design is stellar (the houndeyes are adorable, the bullsquids are terrifying, and the way the jaw swings on the guard zombie is gruesomely unsettling), and the actual graphical and level work (especially in those area the DEVS CREATED THEMSELVES) exceeds what I would find in a standalone ā€œcommercialā€ title. I am so glad it all worked out so well. Really. I am glad.

I am now happy I spent so much time here. This game is worth every year I spent waiting for it. It has surpassed any expectation I could have ever dreamt of placing on it.

Pat yourselves on the back, guys. You deserve it. You are all destined for great things.
