But it’s sort of part of the problem.
Most of the time my interests dies when I start to talk with them, when I realize that this generation have so many who acts as if they are clueless about everything around them. It’s hard to actually find someone with a “brain” for a change.
I don’t talk about different opinions, I could spend hours debating with someone over the smallest things. I talk about not knowing, or refusing to show that they know, anything about current politics, what’s happening in the world, or not knowing what I believe should be common knowledges. I can’t expect that everyone knows everything about everything, but it would be nice if they aknowledged some of it.
I guess this comes from that I value knowledges over most, if not all other qualities.
That’s why I often end up chatting with those who sits in a corner most of a party and never leave their seats else to get more to drink or do their needs. These are often those who doesn’t immerses themself into the ‘Drink, dance and screw’ culture. - Thank God, I can’t stand those people. Fine, if you want to, be my guest. But don’t try to drag me into it God damn it. -
That last part was dedicated to a friend who insist that I should drink more, dance more and then have an ‘ons’. I don’t like that life, I want a relationship with the cuddling, arguing, small talk and everything else there’s in there to be.
I guess I have some deep hatred to stuff that I need to deal with. That, and the feeling of being an old man in a young body.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and I could go on forever, but I lack the english vocabulary to do so.
