The Spoiler Thread

So basically I was trying to come up with a fail thread to grace the BM forums tonight at work. While reading the paper, and seeing articles of the world falling further into oblivion, I was suddenly found myself suspended in a timeless void, overflowing with bright light. I thought “Hey, why not speed things up by ruining peoples lives even more?!” So basically, I want you to ruin someones life by giving away that Oh-So-Important bit of information pertaining to a Not-So-Important part of their lives. So having at it, spoilers ahead:

IT’S A COOKBOOK

In Portal:
There actually is a cake, and it is not a lie. The message writing graffity ratman was wrong the whole time. Also, GlaDOS survives.

In Fallout 3:
Your father sacrifices himself to rescue you from the Enclave, by blowing up the control room of Project Purity. Liberty Prime will be destroyed by orbital strike in “Broken Steel” and not be repaired during the game.

In Far Cry 2:
You never get a chance to actually kill the Jackal. Instead, in the end you help him get the civilians out of the country. Yep, the Jackal may be badass, but he is in fact one of the “good” guys. Sort of.
Oh, and: Golden AK’s CAN break. They only last a much longer time.

In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Dumbledore is killed by Snape. In the final book, it is revealed that Dumbledore would have died anyway (and more painfully and slowly), suffering from a deadly curse that had infected his hand and arm already. Snape agreed to kill him so Dumbledore would no longer have to suffer, and Snape himself would be accepted in the ranks of Voldemort as a double agent, while in fact still working for the Order of the Phoenix. Snape pays with his life trying to play this dangerous role, in order to protect Hogwarts and Harry against the Dark Lord, as was requested of him.

Any given Hollywood movie (with few exceptions):

It’s your job to figure out what I’m spoiling. Wich shouldn’t be so hard…
