Enh. It’d depend on the area of Xen you’re in. Xen’s a border world E.G. a conglomerate of multiple universes. One island would smell like Headcrab while another would smell strongly of ammonia as an example.
I don’t see being a borderworld having anything to do with not being able to mix smells.
He means that different islands will have… personalities, depending on what lives there (or where it came from). Not that each island must reek of one thing like some sort of Alien Epcot.
PERSONALLY, I THINK XEN SMELLS LIKE THE RUBBER LINING AND SWEATY FOAM INSERT OF AN HEV HELMET.
…
Please, someone make an Alien Epcot. It can feature in “Star Trek III: Out Of Darkness” or something.
True, but I thought he meant each of the little floating island platforms, not individual chapters.
Oh.
Well I sure hope Gordon can’t smell the different islands from 40 feet away. They must have some stench, if that’s the case.
It can be taken either way. It was left open to interpretation. I was referring to the chapters primarily though as Tiki indicated.
Wow, i never thought this thread would
be this active.Thanks guys.
On topic, Xen in my mind is like a swamp.
Stale and reeking of bacteria festing on dead vegetation. On other side, not all smells in Xen should be bad. There are probably some plants that produces fruit or nuts which might smell
nice.
Most of them are fleshy or’ll try to eat you, you know…
Oh yeah, i forgot about those spiky things that attack you when you get close.
Hey, at least there’s no plant that pops up when you get near and whacks you in the nuts.
That we know of.
Well it is a border world. It is at the very least possible.
If we discover it, i vote we call it “WhackaNut” !
I vote you discover it.
Ah man, still cannot believe i made this thread, lol.
I was really hoping someone would drag this thread’s rotting dead corpse out of its shallow unmarked grave. Thanks for that
Yep. We’re done here.
