Yes, exactly like in PoP 2008. I loved the art direction in the game. In fact, when I went back and played WW and Two Thrones, I literally died when their were no colors save for gray.
Regardless, I think we can all agree that the Monkey Island series is godly either way.

I also like the art of this remake. Watch the video, the closeups are amazing.
I like some of the art in the remake, but Guybrush looks like an infant with a wig that’s been run through a taffy stretcher.
Ah, if only they’d recreate it to the standards of Monkey Island 3… Still very interesting though. I wonder if they’ll recreate MI2 as well.
In the interview, the guy said that if this become populair, they will probably “do more”.

Well, it was definitely better than Two Thrones, though I think WW is the reason I kept saying “The Prince has become such a pussy!”
It could have been such a better game, but for the sound glitches and shameless backtracking.

I never played the original either. I was introduced to MI with the 4th one which I thought was hilarious.

Awesome, this looks great. I like that they decided to stay with the 2D look with new graphics, 3D objects are great and all but the 2D stuff from years ago has it’s own charm.
You can play it in classic mode and get all the nostalgia of pixilated sprites, but I prefer the hand painted art myself.
