Okay, well some of my screenwriting work is floating around in my inbox because I’ve sent drafts around, and the raw tapes of my movie stuff are still around. Just not any of my workprint edits. One of my friends has those but he lives 3.5 hr away. I guess I’ll have to pay him a visit during winter break so I can get the right timecoded files.

My music and my sound library will be the biggest pain in the ass though. Thank God I didn’t keep any of my mod data on there.

Of course, the drive also had my backup of Black Mesa…

Even then, I’ve never been remotely as cold as that, even in really cold Winters and I’m in the southern hemisphere. That said, there is sometimes a bit in the areas closer to the south pole.

Fuckin Dota2 punishment system… i was idle for some minutes cause i had to go to the bathroom and someone reported me, fuck now i am on low priority pool for one day due to this report, this need a fix like a record of reports per matchs like 5 or more… or something.

I spent 4 freaking days of this week trying to fix someone’s AutoCAD that kept crashing. Finally today I asked one of his coworkers if he could try cleaning up some problematic files that might be causing the problem, and guess what? Couple minutes later the coworker calls me up and tells me he fixed it. It was one command that changed one setting. One. Command. Took all of 2 seconds to fix it, now it runs flawlessly. He knew about it cause he had the same problem. How did he not remember this before!!! 4 days of work and billable time, down the toilet…arrrgggh. At least the stress of fixing it is finally off…

You need to be reported by 6 players to be put there, so I guess your whole match was full of a-holes or you spent enough time at the bathroom so your “AFK-time” was taken as an abandon.
Abandons puts you in the low priority pool too. I believe that it’s 5 minutes of inactivity and then the game tell everyone that you’ve abandon the game early and that it’s safe to leave.
