At it’s not as bad as EVE; before every major expansion is released, there’s always a bunch of posts warning people to queue up long skills because there’s almost invariably several days of unexpected downtime.

They usually give a much shorter time, in the area of a few hours. However, at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more of a running joke than an actual problem.

External hard drive just went today. It flopped over onto it’s side and basically fucked up the seeker so I can’t get the drive to work. It had almost all of my music, all of my edits for my film project, all of my anime, all of my screenplays, all of my Steam game backups, basically everything worth anything on my computer besides the Sonic Rush soundtrack and X-Com. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!
Even better, today is my last day at my job so getting cash for replacing the thing is gonna be a major pain in the ass.
