The Rage Topic

The part of me that thought it was intentional did, at least.

Hey guys, I think I’m a little late to the party, but what’s a Corgi thread?

Ho. Lee. Fuck.

Google just disabled third party extensions in Chrome Canary.

chrome dev-channel still supports third party extensions but it is hard to find the right link

Edit: nevermind, ninja’d xD

Well, that’s if they give them a reason to ban. If the poster is smart enough to provide no justification, then it takes this place a few years to make a reason up.

Fair enough.

I don’t think we’re all equally intelligent, just more comfortable with certain subjects. Also, the longer you’re here, the more comfortable you become with the regular goers, which kinda makes it so we can discuss more topics without flame wars scorching the entire forum.

Yeah. Back to raging: my boss is a dick. I mean, seriously, I’d love to quit my job, but I can’t. It’s shitty. I don’t have any time to do the things that are important to me, and every day I stand around waiting to get off work. The whole thing seems pointless to me.

Hey, at least you’re getting paid to stand around waiting to get off work.

Imagine if your job were actually stressful, and you really weren’t allowed to quit, and you worked a minimum of 56 hours per week (with no paid overtime), with more hours demanded if you ever slacked off, and the only way to get a decent raise would be to agree to do that work for 6 more years instead of the 4.5 already expected of you. And at least half the bosses you’ll have in this time are dicks.

Now take a deep breath and enjoy your job.

hahahaha

Insomnia sucks ass

I’m too tired to say anything else.

But it’s not like I’m going to be getting sleep anyway, so…fuck the Wii U’s passive aggressiveness about whether it’ll let you use a classic controller or a pro controller.

Yeah, that whole sentence is specific enough to pretty much cement that I’ve run out of good things to rage about, so I guess that’s a good thing…or something.

I don’t know, I’ma keep trying to sleep.

Yeah, it could always be worse, but most jobs require at least a little motivation to get done properly and that motivation is money, but with the population getting increasingly lazy and with the rise of automation I hope it actually turns into something positive soon instead of simply putting people out of jobs and increasing the wealth gap.

I was in a similar situation, and I just quit this last week, with nothing lined up!

It had to be done. I just couldn’t take the job anymore.

Didn’t you just find this job after being unemployed for like 10 years?

on topic I’ve had about 2 hours of sleep in 2 days rage

I was unemployed for four months after working for the same firm for 18 years. Then I worked at this new job for four months before realizing it was killing me, so I left and am now looking for new work again.

You are perhaps the first person to agree with me that automation can yield a bright future. It is more work done per less human effort, and we should be capable of realizing that and dividing it, leaving humans more time to perform jobs which are less mundane or repetitive.

I got shamed by a bunch of brogrammers at work on Friday, including the CTO. That was a fun experience.

On the bright side, one of my coworkers called them on their bullshit and cussed out the CTO right there in the meeting. Startup culture is pretty interesting.

Yeah, it’s really not that bad. I just had a shitty few days. It is kinda stressful sometimes, but it’s nothing to be super upset about. I was just complaining.

Stop being a bitch and quit your job already!
