The Rage Topic

You guys should use Mod Organizer, it works with profiles so you can have a lot of different mod setups. It also use a virtual directory that it launches the game from so the mods is actually never installed in the game folder. You can even tie certain character’s save files to each profile.
Gopher has a full video series about how to use it here.

Now, why did you go and do a fool thing like that for?

Feeling unappreciated at work. Starting to think about applying for new jobs. Grr.

… was that directed at TGP?

Using Git sounds like a good idea, but what I was doing was just saving my entire Skyrim folder to .rar files and unpacking them/deleting the main folder as needed. It seems a fairly silly system in retrospect.

I keep hearing people recommend MO over NMM, but I haven’t been arsed to switch to it. I probably should now that I’m starting with a fresh install for the millionth time.

Managed to catch a cold for some inexplicable reason, haven’t been able to sleep all night due to not being able to fucking breathe. I despise being sick.

Edit: MSN-Fucking-B-Fucking-C… it’s 2008 all over again for fuck’s sake.

WHY IS EVERYBODY SO GOD-DAMN CONDESCENDING TO ME ALL THE TIME WHILST IGNORING IT WHENEVER I PULL UP VALID EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT MY ARGUMENT.

NO, IT’S OKAY. I JUST POSTED A WELL-CITED ARTICLE ON WHAT WE’RE ARGUING ABOUT, BUT FEEL FREE TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT INSTEAD OF ACKNOWLEDGING YOU WERE WRONG AND MAYBE, AH DUNNO, APOLOGIZING FOR CALLING ME A ‘FUCKING IDIOT’ FOR TELLING YOU SOMETHING THAT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE.

Don’t worry about it JeffMOD, you will eventually understand why. It’s simply just not your time yet.

I CAN’T TELL IF HE DID THAT INTENTIONALLY OR NOT AND IT’S BOTHERING ME.

Well obviously that pissed you off… you okay now?

Was that somewhere on these boards Jeff? We could always set up a little party in one of their frequented threads.

We haven’t had a good Corgi thread in ages.

Nah, just in general. Happens everywhere.
I could go for a Corgi thread, though.

people here don’t really strike me as condescending, not for a lack of trying mind you, its just that here (as opposed to everywhere else on the internet) we’re all at about the same level of intelligence somehow

Yeah, if that’s what you wanna believe.

Actually, I think around here it’s mostly people who aren’t regulars who are particularly condescending.

We kind of have a way of making ignorant people disappear though.

Nothing quite like falling in love with someone you’ve just seemed to have met… and then waking up, in order to get ready for the next twelve-hour shift in military nucleonics.

Just six more months before things get rougher.

Well generally the ones who’re condescending get banned pretty quick from my experience here.

BY WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!

My fucking internet is fucking acting up again.

What douchebag even put that text in there?

Actually, it was just a test.
Wanted to see if you appreciated the humor.

Hey! Speak for yourself…and perhaps the other 99%

I don’t mean our IQs or the highly specialized experience-based skillsets we have acquired throughout our lives are the same, just in general, at least in terms of intuition.

How did I come to this conclusion? Well, it does take a bit of skill(or luck) to find and install an HL mod properly. We saw and had to deal with almost every different freak accident that causes an obscure error message, by helping countless noobs try to fix it. :freeman:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
