It’s the same key you use to cast powers, like the various racials, so maybe that’s it? By default it’s Z.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is more fun, honestly, since the turn base combat is at the squad level, leading to more intimate encounters with aliens.

Thing is, that’s a really specific genre, so it’s not for everyone.
Speaking of strategy games, though, it’s really fun playing a game of chess with someone who’s as terrible as you are. I actually managed to capture his queen with my king.

Lately my buddy stays up all night playing Civ5 and insists we play together. So boring, it takes ages to get started. Bah.
Unrelatedly, it’s so damn hot I can’t even fall asleep. Maybe I’ll be hardcore and have a shower at 1 AM. I hate feeling so sticky, yuck.

Age of Empires 2 is more fun, anyway. Real time, you can make ramming explosive ships and spam people’s docks with them, and there’s a cheat for a Shelby Cobra with twin machine guns.
I know right? I spent an absurd amount of time playing that game in my young years, spamming an army of 10 cars and then unleashing them them upon an enemy… Boy, how I wish I could get the HD version from Steam
IMO, every Civ game has been worse than the last since at least Civ3. I don’t even want to know how many hours I’ve spent on Civ3.

The shittiest part about it all is that I just realised she was pretty much the only girl in my fairly little circle of friends that I could talk to about anything.

The shout/use power key was literally missing from my menu. I fixed it; it was an extremely rare mod conflict.
