pfff i reinstalled hl2 and ep1 and ep2 and still no weapon sounds as soon as you get weapons beside gravity gun in ep1
Have you tried installing custom weapon sounds to see if they work?

Happened to me one time. The skin on my forearms peeled away, as if I was a fucking snake, lol. It was nasty, but also kinda cool.
Do what I do: Become a vampire and never go out in the sun. Get your vitamins in pill form.

You see, going outside only leads to mosquito bites and sunlight. Fuck that noise.
Unless you have mosquitoes inside your home. Which I have a fly in here, which is less painful but 20 times more annoying -_-

I can top that. I found a fucking SNAKE in my tub once. No idea how the hell it got there. Plus, a frog broke into my room twice. He seemed to like my PS2 for some reason…
Once, while on my walk, I saw a long black snake on the sidewalk, almost stepped on the fucker. It’s a good thing he was eating shit and not paying attention, or he might have bitten me.
Also, there’s a huge gecko outside, and he seems to have a crush on me. I’ll often see him on my window staring at me, or at night, he’ll keep me from sleeping by doing this.
I’ve been stung by 4 bark scorpions on 3 different occasions. One occasion was two scorpions. That shit is painful and disorientating. And since we were broke as hell, we couldn’t afford antivenom at the time.
Well yeah, if you live in a place where these things are more common than water, it’s to be expected. I live in cold, wet Belgium, where usually people don’t have cracks and rot and mould in their walls because most people like having a house that doesn’t fall completely apart after a few decades.
But yeah, it’s not really that bad, actually. Plenty of people have it plenty worse. Just sick of living here (in this house).
Every summer we have a wasp nest in the attic. Every now and then they find their way into the house itself. Superfun at night.
