Why the fuck do people have xenon headlights? Why do they insist on installing these things on their vehicles when they’re going through brightly-lit suburbs and parking lots? Why do they INSIST on having four, sometimes even six of them all glaring that piercing unholy bright blue fucking light? Mm. I feel bad for ya. Although I find that being stuck behind an idiot who can’t maintain a speed at or above the fucking speed limit far more infuriating. Especially when you had to be stuck behind him for 20 fucking miles before hitting the god damned highway (it was a one lane road).

Rule #1 to life: People are stupider than you think they are. I feel sorry for people getting cyber-bullied, but they need to:
a) grow a spine and stand up to the dirtbag
b) if said behavior continues, remove them from their life altogether
If they don’t follow through, I hold little sympathy for them because they’re not taking the proper steps to remove the annoyances from their life like adults are supposed to do. If that source of annoyance happens to be a member of the family, let the proper authorities know.
It’s a matter of working up the courage to stand up for what you believe in and following through with it. Mind you there are complex psychological factors and circumstance. But still, my point stands.
Beyond that, I just use it to keep track of the people I’ve befriended over the years. Mostly my gaming buddies. I refuse to play Farmville or shit like that.
Most network specialists say get rid of it. Digital footprint and all. But that’s a totally different topic.
I know it’s a very cynical view on life, but it’s what I grew up with and what I’ve had to deal with. Mind you it has its drawbacks. This ego complex I have tends to get the better of me sometimes, but I’ve been doing quite well at reigning it in of late.
Facebook is only as useful as you make it. I don’t keep idiots on my friends list, so I don’t have to put up with idiocy on my Facebook page. I use facebook to keep up with events and see what the people I know are doing/thinking when we aren’t around, and it helps me keep track of things that I want to talk to those people about later when I see them again.
Found a little house, well within my potential budget (with room to do quite a lot of renovations).
Took an option on it, contacted the social loan firm and their answer was: “the budgets for this period are gone since Thursday, we should have some new budgets by November”.

My dad is one those guys that believes that you have to put everything on facebook (i.e.: “just took a dump, my poo was a bit too light brown I think…”), he simply does not get it that you’re the one that decides what goes on facebook and what not. I think varg.666 might be my father.

Mate, I agree with you, but I don’t want anyone to be censored on the internet for they opinions who they don’t like, in the name of freedom of speech, you may not like what I say and that’s fine with me, but I don’t anchorage more cyber-bullying. Fair enough. But I never said anything about censoring. Only said cutting them out of their life. They can be free to spew their bullshit, so long as the person who cut them out doesn’t have to listen to it. If I mis-interpreted, I do apologize, you may want to elaborate.
Then again there are less extreme options someone can take (they usually don’t work if the person has an extreme disdain for the individual however).

Cyber-bullying is something I have a problem with. The thing is kids these days need to learn that the power’s with them on the internet. THEY can control what they see and what they hear. If they don’t like it, they can remove the annoyance with but a click and really, the same thing applies to everything outside of Facebook or social media in general.
If you don’t like my posts or PMs, there’s a block option via the User Control Panel. It’s a matter of kids taking the proper steps to make their own lives better. THAT is something they should know.
Then again there’s far more sadistic ways to deal with bullies when you get older and more intelligent. My personal favorite is getting under their skin and then ripping a hole into their ego. I usually find being inventive with your wordplay and refraining from cussing so much (a fuck here or there, maybe a shit or two) is far more infuriating than just constantly calling someone a faggot or some shit like that, and really, far more amusing for the person dishing out the wordplay.
Still, whatever your stance on the issue, yes it’s a problem. If it starts, they need to take the proper steps to remove that threat from their lives or slowly improve the issue.

I didn’t do it to change anyone’s mind, I did it because I wanted to be a fucking asshole to someone I don’t know while still not remaining completely anonymous. They had the ability to look up my profile and discover I’m not a douche, but they never would, so I went ahead and was a piece of shit to them.
I think it’s because sometimes I get so sick of being so goddamn selfless to people I personally know that I really just wanna be an asshole sometimes.
