Edit: Annnd I forgot to mention, my car’s window motor died… I think. I checked the fuse and tried the rest of the switches for the other windows, nothin’. So going to my last resort and dismantling the door to see what’s the issue.
Edit #2: Well, the switch worked (for now) I think the motor’s still dying so I’m gonna take apart the door at some point to look at its guts, less pressing for now since the window’s actually up.
I just went out for lunch for my brother and I, and on the way back with the grub my brother’s hotdog and onion rings ended up all over the floor of my car because some asshole decided to stop short and let someone on a side street out into traffic. So I had to go back and get him new food, and clean out the floor of my car from the sauerkraut. And then on the second return trip I got stuck behind a school vehicle minivan that was driving 10 mph under the limit. Fuckers don’t know how to drive…
I keep finding nests of spiders everywhere I look in this house. I’m starting to get kinda creeped out, because I have to sleep in a basement full of spiders and millipedes and shit that keeps appearing everywhere without warning.
Urgh… Both of my exy girlfriends were the ones that dumped me, and now both of them want to marry me out of the blue (note: one is unstable, the other is already married).
And of the two women I’ve at all recently loved, one is getting married and the other will be moving out in a month or two.
Maya.
How. The. Fuck.
How did Maya become industry standard? My personal lack of familiarity with the interface aside, it’s constantly breaking itself, corrupting projects, leaking memory like there’s no tomorrow, and otherwise shitting itself. Experienced users informed me of this, and I’ve seen it first hand in addition to that.
If you ever wonder why it takes so long for a game to be made, that’s part of the reason. All the industry standard softwares are heaping piles of crap only held afloat because the companies that own them buy out the competition or spread rumors about how it’s “inferior”.
I swear to god, I should start a petition to get Blender on the curriculum for this program.
I have used both Maya and Blender.
Blender sucks. Maya is the bomb (as long as you use .ma instead of .mb).
I’ve been told Blender is garbage (even though it’s the only one I can afford to use) in comparison to the industry stuff. Never had a chance to try out Maya, though it does sound kinda bad.
I like that Maya has animation controls built into the bottom of the interface that are easy to manipulate.
Blender relies too much on keyboard shortcuts to get at what you want and makes it a pain to do things without it. I have enough going on in my brain to have to remember countless shortcuts. And the UI is still horrendous even with the updates.
I like Maya. Maya works for me. Everything is relatively simple and straightforward. And the interface is great. Oh well, to each their own.
I can hardly work in 2D drawings, trying to do anything with 3D for me would be a disaster.
I will admit it took a bit for me to learn it, but all the common functions for modelling, UV mapping, and animation are all muscle memory for me now.
Eh, opinion.
(For those who aren’t familiar with either program, this is the initial startup view with default preferences, barring the polycounter on Maya. Blender is on the left, Maya is on the right. Also on my larger monitor - Try to imagine them taking up the same amount of space for proper comparison)
I feel exactly the same way about Blender. 
But Maya is extremely unstable for me and everyone else in my program, regardless of year.
Look at it, just assuming you want to start with a cube. What a goddamn cubic elitist.

So I work with this guy that is from Nigeria. I’ve worked 3 shifts where I’ve taken over for him and none of his responsibilities have been completed (which makes my life harder) and he gives the worlds shittiest report. Well me and the other PCA are apparently being targeted by him now for “workplace discrimination” because he thinks we are mad at him for his accent and cause he’s black and is from Nigeria. Seriously, I’ve been off orientation for like 4 days, and I haven’t said shit to or about him -.-
My only beef with him is how shitty he handles his job and gives report.
I just realized that thanks to my cell phone and internet bills piling up recently, I now have to come up with at least $345.03 just to have 0$ on all balances and keep the services running, not counting how much rent I owe my parents. I’m currently making about 180$/week(cash) which goes mostly on food, transport and rent… and I don’t even have any credit cards, I imagine I would owe much more if I did.
Oh good, another hay fever shitfest I have to put up with during spring for the next three months in oz. Fuck I hate spring.
Fuck I lost one of the lens from my homemade VR headset. Now that I finally got a phone that supports it, of course.
I started having hayfever issues about a month ago. I just want a nose that works properly!
Oh I love my family. I’m gonna have scars on my waist, stomach, shoulder, and back now probably. And I’m pretty sure I have a broken toe and two broken fingers on my left hand. Because, you know, picking up shoes cause they’re in the way is too hard for my brother, and letting it go without fighting is too hard for my mother. I had to step in between those two fucking morons before I had to attend a funeral. Now I’m all fucked up, but I couldn’t hit back. Woulda been faster and safer for me. I would go to jail though. And lose my CNA license. Cause she’d press charges on me, and call the cops. And I’d have assaulted my brother, a minor.
