The Rage Topic

got it to work with this:

I just wanted to delete/move some objects added by a plugin, didn’t know I could do that with tes5edit
I don’t think it has a rendered view though? I’ll check it out but it seems complicated without it :stuck_out_tongue:

You can, depends on the objects though. Things such as cells, you can’t. I also think (I’m not sure, I haven’t tried it myself) you can’t attach scripts to NPCs unless its via a spell or something as far as I’m aware, or I’m doing it wrong.

so some numbers and figures leaked out from our new government

i can feel my family getting poorer already

The water hose leading to our hot water heater sprung a fucking leak, guess who has to fix it…

The county?

The pipe that runs water to it sprung a leak at one of the connectors. Started spewing water around the area for around half an hour before I noticed.

So, no, not the county, more me than them.

A plumber?

Obviously it was the plumber tiki.

TWO plumbers!?!

Back on topic:

Fucking comcast.

Should I be especially worried if I get a DMCA infringement notice for torrenting something?

i’d start working on getting the “New” out of your location

show them who’s boss

get a private VPN for torrenting

Fuckin’ laptop case just broke. The unit itself is fine (it functions), but the monitor case is cracked beyond all comparison. It’ll cost WAY too much to repair the fucking thing.

On a note, no I don’t use it for gaming, it’s mostly for work and school (part of the reason it’s breaking since I use it so fucking commonly). I don’t ABSOLUTELY need it to function, but I’d LIKE to have it for continued convenience of taking notes in the middle of class and not worry about the thing breaking.

… for those of you who know, any ideas what the risks are for not bothering to repair the (now split) monitor case on a laptop? I want to know, because I’m thinking about ignoring some warnings and continuing to use the unit (opening and closing it as necessary for storage); the problem is doing so leaves a rather large gape at the unit’s hinges so I want to be aware of the risks of doing so.

duct tape

Hinges do not move. Would otherwise.

Could you post a pic at all? I mean, dependent on how it looks, it very well could be fine till replaced with another laptop, but I’d hafta see it to make a judgment call on that haha

The split’s where the hinges are (where the tunable parts are for the monitor itself) it’s actually a pretty common occurrence for laptops it seems.

The split runs along the bottom of that part. I’d take a picture, but I’d have to find where the fuck the digital camera’s buried at first.

I’ve got a few laptops like that, in most cases you can just replace the screws with bolts by drilling a hole in the case but I have one dell business laptop with a core 2 duo processor that lost its entire housing in an alleged “angry ex bitch gone crazy” scenario where the laptop was used to destroy most of the other objects in the room including an X360, a TV, an HP laptop, an iPad and the wall in between the living room and the bathroom (the laptop flew through the drywall, hit a 2x4 beam and broke the tiles of the bathroom wall, and fell in the tub that was full of cyanide with all of my friend’s clothes inside)

But the weirdest thing is that to this day, the laptop charger, keyboard, mousepad, motherboard, HDD, CPU, RAM, wifi card and the LVDS interface cable didn’t need any repairs, they were completely intact while everything else including the battery was in a million pieces. I just taped it on top of an old dead laptop, plugged in a spare dell LCD and it powered right up. I still have it in my museum of immortal technology.

dude why arent you keeping a blog or archive or something for all of your crazy tech recoveries
