also internet connection/speed has (almost) nothing to do with computer performance 
On my computer, there’s an SD slot in the front. The SD card doesn’t go fully into the slot so the card stick out about 2 inches. I left my SD card in the slot and came back later to find small dents in the exposed portion of the SD cad, along with the label being a bit rippled.
My cat has been gnawing on the card!

I have about 8 sd cards and the one I was using to speed up my HP laptop is cut in half because of the sticking out problem and because the actual circuit only takes up 1/3 of the card.
Perhaps, but my cat gnaws on everything. Including my toes when I’m asleep.
Then perhaps my SD card is salvageable? I can’t get my computer or my digital camera to read it.
100% working, 100% impossible to get out of a normal SD slot.
