Top 10 ways to deal with an incompetent team
- Interrupt so you dont have to waste your time listening to them
- If they dont stop talking quick enough, just talk over them
- Keep repeating yourself just in case they dont get it
- If you dont like what they are trying to say, stop them abruptly and say “noooooooo!”
- Try to use comments like “heres the deal” and “ok” and “its like this” and “things like that” …to grab their attention
- Dont let team members communicate without you so they dont confuse each other
- Try to show them the way you feel by using facial expressions (since they probably dont “understand” what you are trying to say)
- Wiggle your fingers when you talk to keep their attention or to hipnotize them
- At the end of your meeting, ask them verrrryyyy slowly if they have any questions
- Call “pop” meetings every day to discuss conference calls and projects daily to make sure they dont forget what they should be working on
oh and I forgot the most important one:
- When team members get off track, just say “hello, hellllooooo, HELLLOOOOO?!?!?!” to get their attention. Works like a charm.

Source SDK keeps fucking up my maps. I go into Age of Empires III to blow off some steam. Instead of a quick victory, I got chased out of my own town, set up a camp in an ally’s base, decentralized my military and resource gathering to OTHER ISLANDS, and got in a three hour battle of attrition that has so far ended in stalemate.
