“University of Maryland University College”
What the fuck does that even mean!?
University of Maryland is the “brand name” for the University System of Maryland. A “university college” is a specific kind of college that concentrates on professional development
Many believe that “university” and “college” are the same thing, but it’s a pretty common naming. In Oxford, England, you have the University College, for example.
I do not understand the gap between a “university college” and simply a “college”. Colleges are traditionally subsets of universities, or operating apart from a university (as is the case with “community college”). Within the University of Maryland are numerous colleges and schools. Wikipedia only tells me that university colleges offer tertiary education without qualifying as a university. The label seems utterly bunk, and pairing it with a “University” branding is egregious. Doesn’t associating the college in question with the University of Maryland mandatorily make it a “university college” so long as it’s not a university itself?
Furthermore, what the hell kind of spellchecker doesn’t recognize “mandatorily”?!

I have something to rage about today…
AWPs in Counter-Strike Source and snipers in general. Last night in particular, one AWP toting whore decided it would be a good idea to sit at the end of the hall in office and cap everyone that entered it. I don’t understand it. n00biest fucking weapon available in CS, they should be quite ashamed. Does it feel good making a kill with an AWP? Is it kind of like that satisfied, yet guilty feeling you get after a good wank? Or maybe they don’t have a choice, maybe their self esteem is that low already that they just can’t handle sucking anymore then they already do.
Yes, I know I can play on sniper free servers, but they are so far and in between. I shouldn’t have to make that kind of effort in the first place. If they like click and shoot games, go to the arcade, watch some porn, torture a defenseless bug, but don’t play a tactical game like CS. It’s not for you. And I swear, if I get shot by another fucking idiot who thinks it’s cool to sit in the corner with his AWP… I’ll lose my shit.
