"The Perfect Game"

Hey!

Just curious about this, but I’m interested into what your guys’ dream games are. If you were given the chance to wish a video game, it comes true; what would it be like? It can be anything, no limits. I’ll be happy to share mine later, but I’m in a rush.

Thanks.

A good example of my idea of a perfect game would be…

My mind = BLOWN

a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game without any bugs or performance issues that has the oblivion lost team from SHoC aiding in developement. Call of Pripyat is the closest to that out of all three of the series.

Half-Life.

You play as Raminator right, and your…

You know what…forget it.

Half-Life.

I’m pretty sure that’d be comparable to Yahtzee’s description of Duke Nukem Forever.

I do believe you are right :fffuuu:

I think we’re supposed to talk about elements of a game that fits our definition of a “perfect game,” not just a list of our favorite games.

Well then of course it would only be natural for our “perfect game” to contain elements from our favourite games

Yes, but just listing your favorite games doesn’t show what makes a perfect game. Allow me to give you an example to breaking down my favorite game:

Easy to get into, hard to master gameplay.
Fun, engaging, and memorable story.
Wonderful music.
Fantastic atmosphere.
Long playtime, but not so long that it gets old.
Memorable characters.
And, most importantly, the game has to stand the test of time, so someone like myself can play the game for the first time more than a decade after the game’s release and still love it.

People will forget Crysis once something shinier comes out, but I’ll remember Zelda 64 for many years, and so will many other people.

^ Fair enough

I guess I just felt too lazy to explain my choices :stuck_out_tongue:

No, no. I’d say: Half-Life: DEV force

Ah, I like it.
Let’s run with this idea. This mod MUST be made!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
