Most definitely, because It comes with TF2 (best class-based shooter), Portal (best first person puzzle game), and half life 2, ep 1, ep2. Not to mention Black mesa source, Zombie panic source, and Insurgency. All in one little pack, that can be bought for 20$ at a store

I remember a time where you put 100 games on a single CD, the Orange Box can’t compete with that. :slight_smile:

I can remember a time when game were on floppy discs. Entire games. Oh modern media, how you take the nostalgia out of things. I miss the chunky “clunk” of my dad’s old 486. :frowning:

There are only 2 bundles that I consider anywhere near as good as Orange Box and they only remained that way for a scant number of days.

Sam&Max Complete Pack = 10 games $9 each + 1 game free, Total Individual Price = $90
Bundle Price = $60, Bundle Price on Temporary Sale = $15

Indie Games Bundle = 10 games $5 - $20 each, Total Individual Price = $115
Bundle Price = Does Not Exist, Bundle Price on Temporary Sale = $30

but then, going by that, I also have to factor in the sale that Steam had on the Orange Box too:
The Orange Box = 5 games $10 - $20 each + 1 game free, Total Individual Price = $85
Bundle Price = $30, Bundle Price on Temporary Sale = $10

Yeah, when they were on sale, the Sam & Max Bundle and Indie Games Bundle both took solid 2nd and 3rd place respectively for awesome games bundles, but even on sale they can barely approach Orange Box at it’s regular price, and then end up getting blown away completely whenever it goes on sale.
