I cannot fucking wait for the 14th much longer.

(This a PS3 exclusive game, for the sake of no derails.)

I’ve been on complete blackout with this game. Glad to see it’s getting good reviews, 'cause I’m picking it up almost completely blindly.

Yeah, I only know a few basic things about this game, other than that, it will be mostly a series of surprises for me.

On the polygon review:

It seems kinda overrated from what I’ve seen so far… opinions?

It’s a fantastic game, I highly recommend it.

Yet to watch a playthrough on youtube. Hopefully I won’t regret being a console hater once I do :expressionless:

You guys are missing fantastic games by not playing consoles. I used to be PCMASTERRACE douchebag too but then I got a PS3 and I don’t regret it one bit.

I don’t not play consoles because of some sort of principle or stupid PCMASTERRACE-inspired reasons. I just have better things to spend my money on than a ps3.

I fucking hate that this game is PS3 exclusive right now. I want to play it so fucking bad but can’t drop ~$250 on a console and the game :frowning:

Watched the whole playthrough. I’ve seen more moving games, IMHO… But I can’t say anything’s bad about it from watching.

Maybe just the part about the whole zombie apocalypse thing getting old. Then again, breathing can get old in the same way.

They should consider making a PC version later, I’m pretty sure they would attract even more customers.

Also, about Zing’s score… My country has always been… say… special.

Yeah, not going to happen. This is a Sony game, they own everything in it, even the dev team is a Sony subsidiary.

I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want to own a console. Just like a PC, the benefits justify the price most of the time.

A PS3 is ~$400 here. Can’t spend that kind of money right now.

I have the same problem as above, I just can’t afford to get a PS3 right now. But when I can, this is one of the first things I’m getting for it. Unless the PS4 is backwards compatible, in which case I will get that and this game. Has it been confirmed whether it is or not?

No direct backwards compatibility with any previous Playstation, sadly. Buuuuuuut it might get a re-release at some point or even just accessible through streaming. Just conjecture at this point, really.

I could live with either, as long as it’s not too far in the future. Guess I’ll just get a PS3 for now, eventually. I heard its beyond fantastic, but I haven’t looked into it. I want to experience it fully.

Don’t limit yourself to just the one game tho. Get Red Dead Redemption too. And Heavy Rain. And the Uncharted trilogy. And the HD PS2 Collections. And so on…

I rented TLOU from redbox for about 2 days and I fucking loved it. The story was amazing, albeit somewhat predictable. The characters seemed realistic enough to the point where the player connects with them. The gameplay had enough action and stealth that made me regret every shot I missed.

I haven’t played its multiplayer due to the limited time I had with it, but I watched some videos of it on youtube. One of the gamemodes is similar to TDM and each player has the ability to listen like Joel and see other players when they move. Once killed, you cannot respawn until the next round. In my opinion, it only looks fun if you have buds to play with.

Red Dead Redemption is the only console only game I want right now. Every other game I want is on or coming to PC.

I don’t want The Last Of Us.
