The Last Film You Saw.

nice try jim

Sorry top bust your balls, but the movie is not new.

These damn bots…

Saw Scott Pilgrim too. Ohmyfuckinggod.

And again, ditto, when I got back to the UK, I’m gunna have to wait to watch it again :expressionless:
.

i think i’m actually alone in hating that movie.

I’m pretty sure nobody is ever alone at hating anything

even puppies

Almost everyone in my family hates puppies.

Just watched Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Second time seeing it, I enjoyed it more than the first time because I wasn’t expecting much.

The action was pretty sweet, but the story is definitely a low point after the first two movies. It’s also pretty annoying how it shits all over the timeline that is set up in the movie. T2 takes place in 1997, great, fine, John looks about the right age for it. Sarah Connor lives for three years after being diagnosed with cancer, also a fine story point. Sarah Connor dies in 1997 of said cancer. Yet there is absolutely no mention of it in T2. You’d think if, you know, she was fucking dying of fucking cancer that they would bring it up.

I like The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ timeline more, even if they jumped into the present (at the time the show was made) because it is much less confusing. Timelines getting fucked up is what happens when you take James Cameron out of the equation.

I have both insulted and praised James Cameron in one thread, my job here is done. And Avatar is a shitty fucking movie with a huge special effects budget.

Terminator 3 was only decent thanks to the good action sequences with shit exploding every second and ofcourse because Arnold Schwarzenegger played in it. Hes so fucking badass.

I watched Zardoz last night… Yeah…

Well, except for the beginning that wasn’t there…

I jsut finished watching American Psycho. Other than Christian Bale’s performance, I hated every single aspect of it.Boring, pretentious shit.

Just watched Last Starfighter yet again. Love the music. Love the special effects (even if the computer graphics are extremely dated). Love the acting of all the characters (though my dad despises Louis).

Greetings Starfighter. You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada.

Woo!

(I hear they’re thinking about making a sequel. Nooooooooo! :’()[/SIZE]

I’ve wanted to see a sequel to that for about a year now. It would have to be done with care, but I think there could be a story there worth telling.

I think it would be better if Maggie went home at some point over the last 20 years though. Alex comes home to see family and old friends, and brings a fight down with him. Could be fun.

I tried reading the book after seeing the movie and it’s even more so.

I’m currently watching Caddyshack. God this movie is awesome.

I just saw a bit of Fight Club while I was out at lunch. I’m really glad that movie wasn’t spoiled for me like Sixth Sense was. I didn’t even know there was anything to be spoiled before I saw it, which made it all the more better.

why would you try to read the book if you hated the movie?

A lot of people like to say stupid things like, “The book was better, you should give it a try,” and then a lot of other people like to do stupid things like listen to their friends’ advice. Shocking, I know.

fyi it was earth all along
