The Last Film You Saw.

I saw Avatar and didn’t pay attention to the detail. The effects and music kept me entertained the whole time. The story was meh but if it were good the story would distract you from the whole experience. For what I payed it was worth it. 9/10 overall.

And the visual design, and the themes, and the universe, and the fact that the environment actually felt real, but whatever…YMMV.

District 9, bought the DVD, and it’s quite awesome.

District 9, and I give a 15/10.
Completely AWESOME and I KNOW theres gonna be a sequal!

sequels have a tendency to ruin things, unfortunately. Why can’t anyone just leave something where it ends, unless there’s a really obvious cliffhanger? There was no such cliffhanger in district 9.

The alien was coming back to free his people from Earth. That’s a bit of a cliffhanger to me…

@ Ibanez: I take it you didn’t pay much attention at the end. Dude turned into an Alien, and the one Prawn who escaped was going to come back in three years to fix him. That is a cliffhanger.

What do you think people are going to do when the ship COMES BACK? Thats worth a sequal. Oh and speaking of sequals. IRON MAN 2 FTW I am watching that when it come out.

oh <.<

i guess i forgot that stuff. i feel so very silly

Saw Invictus this evening.

I ordinarily hate sports movies of all kinds, ESPECIALLY football movies as they all tend to be cheesy and all around terrible.

Invictus struck a very nice balance though, focusing a bit more on the politics of mandela, and how rugby was important to the country as a whole.

While not amazing, I would definitely say it was a good movie.

Zombieland

Very stylish, funny at times (Murrays cameo made me smile), I loved tallahasse (No I cant spell it), thought the ending could of raised the stakes in the tension field a little higher then it did, but it was good enough and worked with the overall feel of the film. While not as good as say, Shaun of the Dead, in the zom-com catergory, its a good night in overall and well worth checking out

8/10

Heyhey, Zombieland as well over here (though it was just before Christmas, don’t watch TV/movies often). Inspired me to make a few L4D sprays. Including the Double Tap and Limber Up rules.

Good movie.

IF the ship comes back.

[COLOR=‘White’]Casino, it was on HBO today when i came home.

Sherlock Holmes. Me and my friend enjoyed it, but only because we’re avid Assassin’s Creed fans. We spent the entire movie linking shit to the game. If I never played the games, I’d enjoy the movie a lot less.

Johnny Mnemonic.

I saw Inglorious Basterds yesterday. There was something in the movie that gave it away that it was not a true story. During the sniper movie he kills an American soldier and you hear a wilhelm scream. The wilhelm scream was not created until the 1950’s. Nice try Tarantino, but I’m not buying it.

well considering the ending, spoiler warning, [COLOR=‘Black’]hitler being killed by jews and the war being won by the inglourious basterds, I’d say Tarantino wasnt aiming for historically acurate…

Well I try not to get too caught up in the details.

District 9 is an Independent Film, and for an Indie, it’s fucking awesome. It’s only proper films that sometimes have shitty sequels, I think they can make a good sequel if they wanted to.

Damn, I replied to something a few pages back.

Anyway, yeah, the last film I watched was Sherlock Holmes, and it was really good.
