The Last Film You Saw.

tron was better than i expected. seeing daft punk actually in the movie made me smile

It’s probably the only movie they could show up in their costumes and not look weird.

I just saw harrison ford rape an android in bladerunner. Was pretty good movie.

we stayed in the credits to make sure it was rly them lol

the plot was really weak though. i wouldnt see it if you’re expecting a super great plot
but it wasnt bad enough to make me hate it, and ofc it was a gorgeous movie

I quite enjoyed Tron Legacy also. It kept the same feel as the original, which I liked. I don’t know if I connected with Sam and Quorra as much as I would have liked though. And, of course, the effects were awesome, although CLU’s face creeped me out at some points, and 3D didn’t seem to add much to the movie.

I also thought it was funny when [COLOR=‘Black’]CLU’s programs break into the club and start killing people, they just nod and start playing different music.

EDIT: I agree with fancy on the story too, it wasn’t real great, and neither was the original (since they were more or less the same). But I think the atmosphere and effects were mostly what made the movies work.

yeah, it was a bit uncanny valleyish because the effects they used to make him look younger obviously aren’t perfect. but i didn’t really notice it that much

and haha yeah, like [COLOR=‘Black’]we don’t give a fuck that people are getting murdered everywhere
i didn’t see it in 3d, im assuming it wasnt rly worth it then?

idk i got there like 40 minutes early and the theater was already packed, so i had to sit way up front, so i didn’t have the best angle. i don’t think i was in a good place for the 3d, seemed like my eyes couldn’t focus right or something. if i had a good seat i think the 3d might have been better, but even then…probably not missing much

there was NOBODY there for us
we went to the first showing though
like 9 people were there and me and my friends were the only ones that clapped during the mjr song :frowning:

I went to the midnight showing too and there was a crapload of people there, there was even one guy who had a full glowing outfit too

UGH WHAT jealous

so yeah, i just watched the human centipede on my friend’s laptop, and i cant help but infer the possibility that the film is part of an MK-ULTRA-esque social conditioning experiment.

and if you dont think MK ULTRA exists anymore, maybe you should read a little bit on this guy’s backstory, and who he was

or should i say, Is

Hah, just you wait till you get till the final boss then. And the optional last dungeon and optional super boss (Never beat those either, did beat the final boss but took me quite a few tries)

Damn, I wanna see Tron Legacy. But of course, over here in our small country we still have to wait another damn month before it releases.

I just watched The Mist. And I wonder why didn’t Stephen King publish this as a standalone book.

Tron was pretty good, i saw it today and really liked it. Between the musical score, IMAX 3D, ridiculously awesome special effects and Olivia Wilde, what’s not to like. Not the best plot in the world(still rapes avatar’s), but it didn’t need to be.

Tron Legacy - 8/10

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I didn’t care for the son, but still enjoyable enough. The ending left me with a few things to think about that I wasn’t quite expecting, though none of it was unexpected. Not outright. But still entertaining.

The Book Of Eli - 6/10

I don’t like Denzel Washington. I find him too preachy, and his movies just as much so. This is one of them. Quite so. I knew that going in, but I like watching new movies, so I saw it. Some good action, but I really hate Christianity. So whatever.

And Mila Kunis needs the firetruck treatment. I really want to bend her over a sink, tie her hands to the faucest, cork her in the butt, and have some good clean fun.

creepy alert

so much class

We’ve all thought of it, champ.

Tron Legacy wasn’t too bad but it could’ve been better.

Flashy effects are a huge plus but it was kind of hard to hear the actors at some points.

Fans of the old movie or anyone who saw it at all would definitely come to appreciate this one a lot more than others.

I beat it on Friday. A while back, when I first got to the end, I got out of there with what’s his face on the dragon, then went back and did the regular ending. (finished on Friday) Didn’t know there was a super secret ending until I was watching the credits and it showed an enemy that I hadn’t seen and basically said “only the elite see him!”

I didn’t watch any movies over the weekend, but I did make a (futile) attempt to be ready for Doctor Who this coming Saturday. All I have to say is: maze full of killer statues :fffuuu:
(also, I like how BBC America is showing it the same day here as in England)

Mongol, great stuff. Fresh breeze through a landscape of mediocre movies the last 10 years.
