Tropic Thunder
7/10. Had a few funny parts. Zoolander was better though

Dinner for Schmuks
I laughed more than once, to say the least.
9/10
I saw Inception the other day. The ending made me but it was highly enjoyable anyway.
And I just got back from seeing Tron Legacy. The soundtrack was spot on for what was on screen, and the visuals were pretty great. The story was sorta meh, but it did give them excuses to change the scenery. Also, I kept the damn glasses. If I’m going to spend $14.50 to sit in a dark room and watch a dark movie for two hours, and they give me a pair of glasses, I’m keeping them
Also, the 3D was barely noticeable to me. The 3D in the Transformers trailer was done well IMO, but in the actual movie that I paid to see it wasn’t very good. Also, Quintessons. Should be interesting, at least. And if not, it’s Michael Bay, there will be explosions.
a lot of it waasnt actually 3d at all
You’re both fucking retarded. The 3d was actually very good. It wasn’t some gimmiky saw3d bullshit, it was only used when it needed to be used and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Speaking of my avatar, I saw true grit the other day.
Fucking awesome.
‘It’s Michael Bay’, can never be a reason to go see a movie. Only to not see it.
When you then add ‘Shia LeBeouf’, most sane people vomit at the thought.
The Transformers movies are fucking terrible.
Man I wanna see True Grit.
Go see The Host instead. It’s a much more interesting tale of revenge. True Grit was just a movie, no more and no less, and I feel no better having seen it.
This is a bad idea. At least, I didn’t like The Host. True Grit was great; the Coen brothers have yet to release a movie I didn’t enjoy.
Yeah, well, that’s just like, uhm, your opinion, man.
I’ve only seen The Big LeBowski by the Coen brothers, but that’s evidence enough of their brilliance and indicates that all of their films must be good, and I want to see more in the future.
Like No Country for Old Men. Or Fargo.
On the Tron 3D thing, yeah, there wasn’t much 3D in it. Which I don’t understand why do it at all if you’re only going to do it like 3 times.
nno i mean a lot of the film was literally shot in 2d and shown that way.
My personal favorite of their’s is Raising Arizona. Certainly Nicolas Cage’s best, though there’s not much competition in that department.
I really liked Knowing actually, except for it’s ending.
But I’ve always been a fan of Alex Proyas.
My favourite Coen movie is probably The Big Lebowski, really. I know, standard choice, but that movie cracks me up like no other.
Knowing upset me. I really liked Face/Off, but it wasn’t Nicolas Cage’s fault that I did.
Cage has lots of great movies tbh.
such as?
Lord of War, The Weather Man, National Treasures 1 & 2, etcaetera.
I wouldn’t qualify national treasures 1 and 2 as “great”, but that’s just, like, my opinion, man.
Also: 4 movies =/= lots of movies
Wild at Heart
Leaving Las Vegas
Lord of War
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
that’s just the ones I saw and remember the titles of
okay, not lots but a couple of superb films in which he acts superbly, at the very least
