Just found out that this existed. It’s pretty much a modern SWAT 4 or Rainbow Six. I haven’t played either of those games but what they’re describing sounds cool.

First gameplay video of Shadowrun Returns. Looks really cool. The only thing I don’t like is how the bodies disappear.
So is the screen black until you use your echolocation, and then it “maps” the world in front of you? That sounds cool.
Edit: Oh man can you imagine playing that Throw Trucks with Your Mind game with the headset and the occulus rift? That would be amazing.
I wish I had enough money to pledge to all these cool looking games.
It doesn’t look like this thread gets much attention, aside from people posting about kickstarters in the first place! Nonetheless, I would absolutely hate for this project to miss out on funding.

its cool that there is gonna be a new veronica mars thing cuz that shit is the best but idk people basically donating hella money so warner brothers can make a movie risk free seems against the spirit of the thing.

I think the whole experience would be mind-blowing, particularly with the Rift and Hydra. As for mind-fuck… at least not officially

Will initially be a free-to-play multiplayer arena combat game. If it gets enough funding through Kickstarter and/or performs really well after release, they will make a singleplayer campaign.
Well, this is a terrifying prospect. Square Enix hasn’t ACTUALLY approached Kickstarter, but it was only a matter of time until the industry took notice. Imagine the horror if a corporate giant like Square Enix decided to kickstart a project everyone wanted, like Final Fantasy VII. The whole thing about Kickstarter is that people could get their UNIQUE idea off the ground without having to have corporate backing. Kiss that capability good-bye.
Just because a larger company is using the model doesn’t mean kickstarter itself will have to change, does it?
