I am getting a raise. My appointment is being upped from 60% to 100% - so I’ll be making 2/3rds again as much as I make now.
Which still doesn’t come out to much, actually, but it’s going to be a huge increase in lifestyle quality for me. I’ll be able to afford to rent my own place, for one.
Shee-it, Limelight by Rush? You’re right, songs don’t get much better than Rush to drum to. I think I like “The Trees” just a touch more than “Limelight,” though.

I nearly died from excitement about game information at E3. so many good titles.

My brother hasn’t gotten a raise in over 3 years.
It certainly was fun. Although, being a hardcore Rush fan… it’s impossible to pick favorites.
I get so much joy from reading ‘Fool’s Errand’, Tawny Man Trilogy - Robin Hobb. I can so see myself in prince Dutiful. I can understand his feelings of yearning longing for what he believes is his first love, a green eyed girl stuck in a cat’s body(Hard to explain if you haven’t read any of her’s earlier works).
But at the same time can I also see myself in Fitz, following his duty while struggling with his own thoughts, beliefs and memories, still determined to bring the prince back to the throne. All this while trying to save the life of his companion for fifteen years, his wolf ‘Nighteyes’ and Fitz’s childhood friend ‘The Fool’.
…You should read all of her books, they’re quite good if you ask me. But then, I’ve always liked fantasy.
As for the names, everyone in the Farseer lineage have these kind of names, ‘King Shrewd’, ‘Prince Chivalry’, ‘Prince/king Verity’, ‘Queen Constance’, ‘Queen Desire’, ‘Prince Regal’ etc. Other character have less descriptive names like ‘Molly’, ‘Galen’, ‘Chade’, ‘Burrich’.
And ‘FitzChivalry’ is Chivalry’s bastard son, which would be pretty obvious if you know how the name Fitz is used.
I wish I had the patience to sit down and read books, I just can’t seem to last long at all. I read a shit load on my monitor though.
A Shame really when I was little my primary school teacher would read out part of the hobbit everyday toward the end of school, he was a lovely teacher with a brilliant voice to listen to, add that to the incredible writing and the visualisation was perfect.
I find that it helps to read in bed at night, while travelling, and in class if you’re that apathetic.
So there’s a fourth Petrovich novel.

Yeah I still can’t do it, I’d rather close my eyes and listen to music, which is what I usually do when I travel.
