the greatest way to end half-life(imo)!

Well duh.

I personally feel that episode three will end with some sort of climatic showdown, with one party being an advisor or Dr. Breen or both or even G-man (you never know!), and the other party most likely being Gordon, Alyx, and one very pissed off crowbar. I mean, we all know it’s really the Freebar who does all the thinking, right?

“the crowbar slowly gains awareness as it reaches thirteen thousand hydrolargs of kensiom. now the crowbar realizes that it exists and shall remain conscious for the rest of it’s existance”

Whatever happens, if Half Life ends anything NEAR how Lost ended, I will eat my own penis MAJOR SACRIFICE - Don’t make me do this Valve :’(

He has taken MIT graduration

When the game ends I thought just how cool it would be if Gordan, after beating the shit out of some badass combine leader, (Equivalent battle to Nihilanth) stops with his crowbar out, leans against some balcony that is overlooking some epic scene of destruction and in some nearby refelection you can see a small grin on his face…

What lifeless being would know that? I don’t know about you, but I don’t keep track of the things I killed in a video game.

EDIT: Oh sorry. i was responding to Johnyo, and din’t know there was another page already.

that would be like a cockblocker but in the gamer way.

My point was that this is is a forum of a HL remake, so the assumption that people here haven’t played HL2 is pretty fucking ridiculous.

I may or may not have embelished the level of obsessiveness…

After Gordon destroys the borealis, G-Man puts him back into stasis and leaves without explaining anything.

…and they all lived happily ever after. At that precise moment, Gordon closes the book, kisses his 3 year-old son on the forehead and tucks him into bed. He approaches the doorway, turns to his son and says, “Prepare, for unforseen consequences.” and turns off the light. Total darkness.

Yeah, Half-Life 2’s ending better be epic. :freeman:

The best ending ever would be everyone (and that includes everyone) dies in very bloody ways. That way, they make up for lack of gibbing in HL2.

Half Life 2 already has an ending. :hmph:

It wasn’t really all that epic.

Neither was the ending to HL1. Or OF. Or Episode 2, or…just forget it, virtually all of the endings to the HL series are Downer Endings.

6 gunships

I’ve never been a fan of statistical data when it comes to enemy numbers.

Well it was a bit late, but that’s how many there are in Half Life 2, I think.

Gordon Freeman dieing for Alyx is the only way I could see it end. If he ever dies that is.

So for the Final Downer Ending: At the end of Episode 3 you kill Gman and the advisors, and then Lamarr falls out of the sky and eats Kleiner’s head, and a pack of Hunters kill Alyx, and Barney gets eaten by That Cat, and Zombie Eli murders Mossman, and Dr. Magnusson dies when a microwave casserole explodes in his face, and then a lawn gnome hits you on the head and you die. The end. (Come on, the foreshadowing is SO OBVIOUS :retard: )

Tell me somebody else got that reference?

Looking at it now, it might not have been a reference, but wutever.

Remember, Lamarr has been debeaked, so she can’t feed on humans. But otherwise, that’s how the series is gonna end, because since HL loves to foreshadow things, there is no doubt in my mind that what you said isn’t 99.99% true.
