[align=center]Cordial Greetings !!!

( Material Deleted according to the leader of the mod, sorry for the inconvenience. )

Anyway, in the future if i post, i won´t post anything related to the Mod, only about BlackMesa Source.

are you

a marketeer?

It actually looks good

Maybe I’m just being paranoid but I’m getting the feeling this thread wasn’t made just to spread the message.

Hi ;

I´m a member of the developer team. Concretely my works for the mod are, as Music Producer, Sound Editor, Public Relations and Translator to Spanish.

And the message was created for the people of this community can know a little more about our project we are doing.

I hope it will not be bad.

Thanks for your attention.

Take Care and C U Soon !!!

This forum likes full words.

It does look interesting, but you worded it like an advertisement and sounds dodgy as a result. :stuck_out_tongue:

oh i see
you just grabbed a bunch of models, textures, animations and maps from fpsba-- gamebanana, fakefactory, tied up with a p bad story and called it a mod.

okay.

also your music sucks

Looking at the screenies more closely, GOD STEALING MODELS ARE NOT FINE, UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO PUT ABOUT 2000 PEOPLE IN THE CREDITS, AND ASKED ALL OF THEM FOR PERMISSION, IT DOESN’T WORK LIKE THAT.

Mapping looks fine though.

Edit: Really?

It’s not even that, the whole texturework on that house is horrible.

I might sound nitpicky, but people look at those kind of things. I know that it is still in dev, but you perfect an area before releasing the screenshot.

what

Some parts looks like it had some work involved.

I can’t access the main page.

<www.thegate.half-lifecreations.com> This version is compatible with Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator only.

I saw this the other day on moddb, saying it’s the long awaited sequel to some mod I’ve never heard of and showing a bunch of screens of some maps with weapon skins I’ve seen a thousand times before. Unless they are just using them for placeholders, in which case they really should be showing them in screens in the first place.

TL;DR - stealing is bad, as is this mod’s quality

welcome to Black Mesa Forums
[COLOR=‘Black’]get the fuck out

I’m very positive towards combining stuff already made by the community (getting permission where required ofcourse and crediting the original creator), if the developer believes that this will help focus on a story and produce a complete new mod.

Having said that, you really need to work on your mod a lot more.
And also your official site needs improvement. Opening it with Opera I got an alert message prompting me to use IE or Netscape Navigator. On Chrome it loads fine, but there still are some bad issues you encounter while browsing it (overlapping text, bad looking fonts, “click here” links that are not actual links etc).

(and why no moddb page?)

They didn’t put together, they stole.

Couldn’t have said it any better.

:fffuuu:

Conspiracy theories.

I swear I’ve seen that before. :frowning:

[align=center]I strongly encourage U to escort yourself from the immediate area
Take care and depart hastily
