Enjoy.
It was always coming to PC, they’re just using the public demand excuse to garner good publicity.
Most major Ubisoft titles are released on PC.
^ And shittily at that, with hack-job awful console porting and horrible DRM schemes.
With any luck, Watch Dogs won’t be like this.
Ubisoft stopped using always online DRM for almost 3 years now.
They use Uplay still, which is another useless Steam copy. Also the Division is apparently an MMO type game.
And this isn’t really unexpected. Ubisoft told people to show their interest, which was mostly a marketing scheme probably.
Never had an issue with Uplay. It’s about time people start to get over the Origin/Uplay hate.
I have to run my own origin server in Apache with a hosts file redirect to play SimCity
Really. For the most part, Origin isn’t any worse than Steam.
Most people don’t like other devs doing their own digital distribution platform because it requires multiple open at the same time and is just all around annoying to have to keep switching between them. I don’t mind them existing but I don’t want to have to keep switching between 3+ programs just to play video games.
At least it promotes competition with Steam, especially with Origin’s new “any game you buy can be refunded” move.
Maybe Valve will be encouraged do things like not make Steam take forever to load up, or make the non-steam library actually not wipe itself from time to time.
Delays for the game’s release on Xbone and PS4 means delays for the PC edition release.

Ubisoft finally realizes the importance of releasing finished and bug free games.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
