The Delay: Some Perspective

I’m one of those who says it’s the journey that’s important, not the destination. Think about it. After perhaps a week or so of people coming on here and getting all of their "SQUUEEEEEE"s out of their system, most of the forumites will pretty much dissappear from here. At least the delay is holding us all in the same place to share our similar and radically disparant ideas in one location. When BMS is finished and we’re all three or four times through it, the game will be the real last monument to the community that made it so popular. That and the Wiki.

But that’s just my opinion . . . I could be wrong.

DarkLordSyn is right! I’m gonna miss you guys once this is all said and done. :frowning: … That sounds like something Gandalf would say!

Welcome back to the team Garcian!

Congrats Garcian
Don’t use the banhammer all in one place

Who? What? Where?

Because Gandalf says things like, “I’m gonna miss you guys” all the time.

I’m pretty sure Gandalf is the guy in Star Wars with the purple light saber who shouts, “His power level, IT’S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAANDDDD!!!”

(immense sarcasm used)

I’ve had enough of these motherfucking Sith on this motherfucking Republic.

I’m a bad purple motherfucker.

That is true. Let it be known hereforth that Black Mesa exists as a monument dedicated to the greatness of this forum and those who post upon it!

Bwahahah I’m back to full strength!

Ta very much, BFH.

How does it feel to be back in power?

The best quote about delayed games comes from Gabe Newell himself: “A game is delayed for a while, but a game sucks forever.”

No need for no bloody kotaku magazine.

delay`s means a better product carefull with details guys

What if…

:fffuuu:

What if the ‘cake’ is a lie? Or are you implying something else?

I believe he’s trying to say “But what if… there were such a thing as a portal gun? Video games would become obsolete!”

I don’t get this guy… if you’re going to necropost, why pick a thread that’s only a month old? Why not go all the way back, I’m sure you could find something from July or August that would be even more decrepit…

Obvious post is obvious.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
