The Bullsquid and the Gargantua...

It will make the Bullsquid more real if it drops a little acid when he dies…
(Like the Splitter of L4D2, but not too much acid…)

And it will be cool if the garg doesn’t dies with a ridiculous explosion…You know, make the death, like even more like a “Dinosaur”…

And also, Dont make the death NPC’s body disappear like GTA: Vice City…lol

Also, don’t make bm crap, make it awesome. Oh and don’t add all the bugs from hl1.

HL1 bugs are awesome!! :stuck_out_tongue:

No seriously, it’s just a suggestion…

Not bad suggestions, but they should go here:

Acid pools if it gibs maybe.

I think thats a good idea for the garg and i dont think the bodies disappear as i dont think they did in hl2. The bullsquid idea is alright but maybe it should bleed acid?

If it’s blood was acid do you really think it would be spitting it at you? :stuck_out_tongue:

I kinda like the idea of there being a small amount of acid if it gibs, but I think that to to keep it bealiveable there would have to be such a small amount that you probably wouldn’t notice unless you were looking for it.

so with that being the case it really wouldn’t be worth the work to implement, as much as it would be kinda neat.

Antlion workers?

did they bleed acid? or did they just juicy everywhere?

They exploded in acid when you gibbed them.

They’re not xenomorphs :meh:

The bullsquid will not leave an acid pool like the spitter.
The gargantua’s death is unique.
Bodies disappear only when your not looking at them to release resources, but you can tweak this with a convar.

totally off-topic but (rot)(fodder lovin the new(?) avatar (actually you kind of look like eighties comedy icon gallagher haha)

anyway as you all were

Well, they gibbed whenever you killed them, so I think that Valve was trying to show that the acid wasn’t exactly easy to handle.

Curious.

As long as the player can’t walk through its giant corpse I’ll be happy. Fallout 3’s behemoths had that and it seemed kinda dumb. :meh:

Not if you drowned them.

you know the bullsquid always has his mouth opened? he could let some acid while he’s walking wich really wouldn’t do damage because are little mounts of it just like a effect or like water it would made the bullsquid more realistic

Its one of those nice things we would like to get done, but also one of those things which may not.

I was also thinking about something similar, when HECU enemies are killed, should a blood pool develop? I don’t even know if this is possible in the source engine, but it would add to the realism, in my opinion. But then, in Germany, it would be replaced with flowers.

In Germany killing people will heal the world.
