Well, if you are suffering life-long consequences from a mild, however very obvious form of fetal alcohol syndrome (my mother didn’t notice she was pregnant until it became obvious, and thus continued to go to parties with my dad for several weeks or even months during my embrionic/fetal stage), you won’t find your own body to be made of as epic win and technology as those of almost everybody else. It is like going to a LAN Party with a Mac, or like owning a PS2 while everybody else plays PS3.
And being bound to never play anything better in your whole life. Which, by the way, might just happen to end on your 40th or 50th birthday or shortly after.
So forgive me if I sound a little depressed and self-loathing sometimes.
