The_Assassin47's SECOND TRAILER

Hey Black Mesa.

About 3 years ago I made a Black Mesa Fan Teaser that was distinct in its sad, dramatic themes. (You can find that older video here https://youtu.be/d80zKt8q3y8))
Im not really a video guy, just a tech guy, so I just use Windows Movie Maker. Here we are now in 2011, and I felt like making a trailer today, so I did. Dusted of WMM, and here we are.

Everyone complains that with the official footage you cant make a good trailer remix cause everyone has done it a million times, but thats all I know how to do. Its my second ever video, please let me know how I did.

As the first scene is not from official footage, an alternate cut is available with the opening scene changed.

Please comment!

I think it’s pretty nice! Good job! That first scene is actually awesome

The music is so unfitting to Half-Life, it makes me want to vomit.

I’m sorry, but that was pretty terrible. Why bother making more videos using the same footage from the 2009 trailer if it’s been done hundreds of times already? And yeah, that music really didn’t fit at all. At least your old video had more of a sad tone to reflect the whole incident, this music felt like it was for a dancing or racing game or something.

Last time I checked this wasn’t “show off” sub forum.

Hey! It’s Black Mesa: Gay Dance Club Edition!

Black Mesa: The Ballad of Gay Freeman.

I’d look for that image of Freeman in a pink tutu but I cbf right now.

Ye didn’t ask, but ye shall receive anyway.

bad

…and as quickly as it was manifested, it was set ablaze by the nary content.

You missed the 2009 logo at the end. HOW WE SUPPOSED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TEAM MISSING THE RELEASE DATE!?

that caught me out the blue and now i have beer all over my monitor :frowning:

you have +1 viewcount

I thought your edit of kazioo’s trailer was better, honestly. but this one you made wasn’t that bad. Music was just very unfitting.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
