I really liked Spiderman 1&2 and I watched Avengers yesterday. Comparing those to this.No chance. Anyway the whole movie is unoriginal and there’s nothing interesting about it. What’s your point?
Nothing the Raimi movies haven’t done before. (and this is from someone who loves them, even SM3!)
My point is you should give the film a chance.

Sometimes the trailer is enough for a strong opinion. Seeing the trailer has kept me away from a lot of bad movies in theaters, and sitting through them later on didn’t help their case any.

I’ve only watched one of the trailers, and it looks like it has much more potential than the Raimi trilogy.
Then again, and I’m probably going to get flamed for this, I’m not a fan of anything of Raimi’s that I’ve seen, which includes the Evil Dead and Spiderman trilogies.
I liked the first Evil Dead because it was hilariously bad and it’s great to watch with friends
Second one sucked (it was a remake), have to watch the third one again but I do know Duke Nukem 3D ripped it off for quotes.
I liked the first two Raimi spiderman films despite Tobey Maguire generally annoying me, third one was just painful to watch on all levels though
Perhaps I’m partial to Raimi because I grew up with the Hercules and Xena action shows as a kid
Though whether you like the SM movies or not, you have to admit Spider-Man 2 is one of the best movie games ever to come out of the industry
This movie seems closer to the comics in some ways, the only thing that I didn’t like about it was the “first person” trailer
I’m super disappointed with the way they made Lizard look. He’s supposed to be a cute iguana thing in a white coat, not some drab shit they copy>pasted from a sci-fi original movie
To bloodshot, Evil Dead 2 isn’t a remake. Pay attention.

It’s basically the same sequence of events later on with different characters and a different ending that continues on past the original to allow for Army of Darkness
They had to re-film Evil Dead for Evil Dead 2 because they couldn’t get permission to use the footage from the first film when making the second film. Weird.
