Don’t get CS: S because it’s populated by gamers like Sersoft that only gain self worth from spending the majority of their time playing mediocre games until they’re practised enough to kill every other player, thereby sucking the fun out of the game for all involved.
I agree fully with Soup…and have noticed a servere decrease my liking of Sersoft.
FYI I have TF2 and I play it sometimes.
Then surely you know it is not for 12 year old kids.
I’m not sure, sometimes they sound mature but still act like the rest.
And you can’t say the game doesn’t look childish. I mean you get to wear hats and stuff, if CS was like that people would laugh at it even more.
Just because it is cartoonish, does not mean it is childish.

Anyway blood and gibs don’t scare anyone nowdays, the days when people were too scared to play quake because of gibs are long gone.
TF2 is an insanely well thought through game that Valve continually strives to perfect in every way it can. Its looks have no impact what so ever on my enjoyment of it. In fact, if it was full of gritty realism it wouldn’t be half as fun.
I think the only time gritty realism would improve the game would be if you were a immature knob who thinks that playing a game that could in any way make them look childish must be shit for that reason alone.
TF2 obviously wins out, but if you ever have the extra money or get to try it out, get CS: S.
In its defense there ARE servers out there populated with rational, mature gamers you can actually enjoy playing with. It’s just a matter of finding them. I still play it regularly in between TF2 and L4D1 and 2. It’s a good casual game when you get on the right servers.
TF2 all the way. It has just the right amount of goofiness, the art style is amazing, and the gameplay is easy to get the hand of but at the same time very intuitive. CSS is so full of noobs and/or pr0s that you can never really enjoy it.
Plus CSS == CS :fffuuu:

I really don’t ever check the news, other than big items. I never cared about the deathmatch, so I wouldn’t have cared anyway.
The price of CSS ought to be dropped to 5 dollars. It’s a good deal for the six hours of entertainment you get before you download too many skins and eventually get tired of it.
Then it’s only useful if you play Garry’s Mod, as several hundred addons require that you have it installed.
Most of these addons suck and you wouldn’t want them anyway.
So CSS is pretty useless.
you forget textures. 95% of maps in gmod required CSS for textures only.
TF2 kicks CSS’s ass so hard it’s not even funny.
