TF2 is way more varied and way more fun
Comparing CSS to TF2 is like comparing a juicy watermelon to a huge building. The only thing they have in common is that they both are First Person Shooters. Both are great games.

Well to be a bit more helpful, since they’re multiplayer games get whichever one most of your friends are playing.
I find TF2 fun because of it’s light heartedness, and the sometimes franctic rounds.
CSS might seem slightly more serious, but there are many servers that allow for hilarious arsing around. Also in CSS you’ve more chances of coming across people who will cut you to shreads, this is less likely in TF2 where new players have a chance not to get mauled within 30 seconds of joining a server, I find it more balanced.
TF2 is certainly more varied with the classes, but the sheer amount of cummity work on CSS is staggering, so there’s still huge amounts to see (hell, I’ve over a thousand maps downloaded for CSS just from trying different servers over the past few years)

Get the Orange Box. I bought a Retail Version for 20€ and it’s definitely more fun than CSS. If you already own HL2, get TF2+Gmod.
I got bored of tf2. And CSS and PB, Minigame and Surf.

that’s a joke right i have no skill i have played one round of css i owned every one with a glock and got banned after winning. CSS sucks most the people that play it are 7 years old, hack, or are to good at the game for any one to win against.
I think you just proved my point.
Its easier to start TF2 if your bad because you can just keep switching classes until you find what one your good at, CSS if your not good your screwed because most of the people that play have too much time so all they do is play it and piss you off.
