TF2 update

After the TF2 update I get the message:

failed to load the launcher dll

how can I fix that?

verify integrity of game cache?

or try deleting C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\YO, YOUR ACC. GOES HERE\team fortress 2 (be sure to backup sounds/skins so you don’t have to download them again)
If all else fails, contact steam support

k, I deleted the bin folder in “ma acc/Team Fortress 2”
then it worked, but the game itself is horrible since the mac update

Well, I must admit it’s true. I have a mac myself, but I don’t use it for playing, and when I logged into the TF2 from it, all my fav servers were missing, and I have problems searching any playable server ever since (even on Windows Steam client). Valve screw up a lot of things by doing that ‘merger’. Hope It’ll get fixed soon.

IT DELETED SERVERS?

I can apreciate the new “headphones” they gave the macfags so we know who to flame, toll or target, but that’s really all they’ve given us for this update. The new ui is annoying and shitty. There should be a coice between “new shitty ui with tutorial for macfag n00bs” or “ui”

I found a UI that’s pretty much the old thing, not perfect, but a lot less “MY FIRST COMPUTER FUN TIME! :3”

I don’t think you want a custom model or sounds when you join a pure server, because your custom model will get wire framed, and the sounds will make your ears fuckin bleed.

stopped reading there.

Most of the “macfags” are people who have both a personal computer and the mac, and they wanted to play TF2 on the mac a bit

simpleton

Also, those who really play tf2 for the first time, they only got the earbuds, while PC players get Ghastly Gibus, the beret, the Lament and halloween masks and more stuff

Now stop your crying and let’s back to the topic

I don’t hate the mac users, I just hate the new menu, the new bugs(e.g.: crashed after changing server, weapons and players stuck in mid-air, or item shadows without items)

Anyone mind turning the following into a .vtf, since Valve forgot to change the import spray feature and it still needs a .dll to open the .tga?
