Holy shit this arrowintheknee-thing is getting out of hand!
I used to care about it but then I took an arrow in the knee.
Check youtube it´s being invaded. Literally with those kind of statements
No shit.
I used to help invade youtube with those kinds of statements but then I took an arrow to the knee.
I used to rebel against overused memes but then I took an arrow to the knee.
Memes to yourself, sneak-thief.
If I may take a moment to interrupt this intellectual and meaningful discussion and point out this beautiful screenshot:
And note this is why Morrowind and Cyrodil are completely fleshed out. You can see them. The darker thing is red mountain.
Yeah people going “OMG PROVINCES FOR DLC” are fucking stupid. If you went north past the border in Oblivion you could find a huge mountain where the throat of the world is. Its there for that purpose.
It would be nice if we could have province DLC. Such as going to Cyrodil and seeing what’s happened to it in the hundreds of years since Oblivion.
You mean it would be nice if they made a whole new game and sold it as DLC?
I think Orsinium could pass as DLC pretty good. It’s pretty much a city-state with land around. Perfect for DLC and you don’t have to create a whole new land.
Entirely unrelated to everything though. I’m kinda hoping for something vaguely plot related for this, maybe related to the Thalmor-Empire conflict. Or Atmora. That would be cool too.
You get to go to Akivir and chill with the monkey people.
I once hated the elder scrolls- but then I took an arrow to the knee.
I still don’t like the Elder Scrolls games. I used to play the fuck out of Fallout 3 but then I took a Fat Man to the knee.
Atmora is way too cold. Everybody there is thought to be dead.
Key word thought. The lore is vague enough that Bethesda could make it interesting fairly easily.
It wouldn’t necessarily be a whole new game. It would be something like The Shivering Isles. It would be more exploration than anything. They could throw in a small main quest, but I could care less whether they did or not.
You could talk to people, learn about what’s gone on with Cyrodil since the Oblivion crisis and just enjoy an updated piece of Tamriel.
The world is too big to already be remaking older games, even as DLC. There are whole continents left unexplored. Lets go there first before we worry about places we’ve already been, they won’t have changed that much.
Having said that, revisiting Morrowind might be cool, because it has changed completely, although not as a full expansion. Maybe one of the shorter DLCs.
