TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

First person horseback should still be there bros. Just like in Oblivion had it. if it wasn’t, i’d be disappoint mucho.

1st person finishers also exist. For example, impaling bandit via glass sword thrust in demo video in the Drauger dungeon.

EDIT: wtf poeple, 1st person is still there guys. yeah, you have option to go 3rd person, but it’s not forced while you are riding horseback or finishing off weak enemies.

Horse back 3rd person is manidory, its been confirmed on twitter by Pete Hines.

Also well yes there are first person kill things it has also been confirmed that again that dragon kill thing has to be done in 3rd person and however theres is a way to toggle the general / random ones off.

Well fuck my nigger.

i wish we had some “shooting a bow on horseback in first person” shit going on in Skyrim. that’d be sexy as hell.

Well that is a serious disappointment. :frowning:

lol at the fallout lockpicking again. Nice to know I’ll be able to sell all but one of my lockpicks and never worry about breaking it.

Oh for fucks sake, you guys are pathetic. Complaining about a game that hasn’t even come out yet, for the smallest shit. Third person horse riding? Who the hell cares? Oh, and I could have effectively used one single lockpick throughout the entirety of oblivion, it’s called “saving”. Most of you are completely misinformed as well. No, finishers are NOT IN FORCED THIRDPERSON. In fact, I think I’ve only seen 1 thirdperson finisher in all of the gameplay I have watched.

Ohh boy, we’ve been waiting for a ragefag to come along for an age.

One sec, informing the ladies club. Don’t go anywhere, plaything.

Firstly its not pathetic to dislike features of a game. As a consumer I am entitled to my opinion and if I dislike being forced to 3rd person I am going to say it.

Also its not miss information.

General 3rd person finishers are not forced. They can be toggled, you are correct about that.

Dragon finishers are forced 3rd person.

Lastly, saving to cheat the game of difficulty is different from not being able to have any challenge at all. It isn’t like its possible to add difficulty for yourself to a game and again as a consumer he is entitled to that opinion.

Sure, you are entitled to your opinions. What’s pathetic is that the features you are nitpicking are so minuscule that the fact your are completely denying the game for these reasons is flat our retarded.

The fact that you think we are “denying the game”(lolwat) over these little features proves you are “flat our retarded”.

Keep squealing little piggy.

There you go, to jog your memory, you did infact deny the game.

Reffering to the customization system, numbnuts. Please try again.

Jet. Bro. Just shut the fuck up. This is a thread about skyrim. Not a thread about what we can’t say about Skyrim.

le-sigh…

maybe i’m old school, i preferred Morrowind’s approach to lock picking, yeah it was random chance but i’m just really not a fan of mini-games in the style that Bethesda handled it for lock-picking in Oblivion/FO3.

Also, not necessarily “new” news but I thought it was kinda interesting. GT did a bonus round show that Tod got to talk a little bit about skyrim here and there, pretty cool discussion overall though (mind you potential light spoilers maybe? just covering my bases on this one)

https://www.gametrailers.com/episode/bonusround/508?ch=3

Tod does mention as “its a bit of a spoiler but the end of Red Dead Redemption… i wish i had thought of that” Ive never played Red Dead so i didnt pick up on the reference

Third person horse riding and dragon finishers? That’s retarded.

Though I’m sure there’ll quickly be a mod to stop that.

Multiple choice character creation and forced 3rd person visuals. That might explain why the demo character always has his face hidden in that butt ugly horn hat.

Why the fuck would you want to ride the horse in first person? It’s just a lot better to do it third-person, since there is no vomit inducing camera shaking.

Camera shaking never bothers me.
