Who starts e3? I don’t know that but afaik the first place you can see Bethesda’s showing off skyrim is the game trailers show.
It looked good I guess. I over hyped it a little perhaps and expected something better than sliced bread. Still very content about this. Animations look fluid and combat seems great. I hope the scene where that frost dragon crashed and affected the ground isn’t scripted but a real feature.
btw all those people trying to act like kinect is great is fucking retarded. They look so stupid doing it. Kinect doesn’t impress me in the slightest. It’s just a dumb gimmick. Those poor little children that were forced to do that.

Do you mean Skyrim itself or the other demos? Fable The Journey seemed like a complete joke.
I thought it was awesome. I could see the controller holding some of those fights back, but that was the only “dissapointing” thing I noticed. Everything else was as I had expected, or better.
My only complaint thus far, is the ragdolls still appear to have oblivion’s awful dampning on them, as you can see when the Giant is thrown, and when the first dragon dies.

TBH I hated the hud. Just doesn’t look very “fantasy”. I hope they change it.
I also feel like fighting with anything that can’t block is going to feel like a lesser experience.
Parts of the hud were a bit out of place, like the level up info, imo.
What items won’t be able to block? Isn’t there a block button with duel weapons aswell? Mouse 3?
Only shields and 2 handed weapons can block.
Also I don’t think huds are a big deal its just something that stuck out to me. I’ll just reskin it.
There will be millions of mods to change it.
Pretty awesome gameplay though.
What does kinect have to do with skyrim? Did they announce support for it and I missed it? Last I checked they said no to it because of memory constraints.
