TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

i really hope there’s an age slider or something. With the different body types confirmed a few weeks ago, i’m hoping to create a young Nordling with a skinnier frame for my main quest. i’m a sucker for those tiny-young-man-against-the-big-bad-world cliches. i also hope that the game lets you change your appearance during the game.

As bad as it sounds, i plan on modding the ever-lovin’ shit out of this game. i don’t dislike those faces but i definitely don’t like them. it’s just a sample though but i prefer prettier people…mixed in with the oogly ones at least.

In Oblivion, all but one of my characters were dunmer. If you have to have a Romulan brow, I will be disappoint. Fortunately, I will be getting the PC version, and I’m sure some other dunmer players that actually have modding skills will put something out to fix this pretty quickly :stuck_out_tongue:

Somewhat relevant to this.

Beat you to it someonerndm :stuck_out_tongue:

Well mine doesn’t have an age gate. So there.

Oh I didn’t know mine had an age gate.

Goes back into the 1800s.

I demand it go back to 1400 so that it can be moar stereotypical genre fantasy.

nvm.

What time period is the Elder Scrolls technologically I wonder.

Its in an alternate universe so no time related to our world. However like pretty much all genre fantasy, its based on anywhere from the 14th century to the 16th.

It’s actually set in the future. The elders scrolls takes place after the story of Fallout 3. the world undergoes extreme nuclear warfare resulting in a forsaken uninhabitable planet. Millions of years later, Earth is reborn with a new evolution consisting of many new different evolved humanoid species such as argonians, khajiit, orcs, etc.

Except this time, civilization is doing it right! WITH MAGIC N SHIT.

It’s really the best way to go. /trollogic

Warhammer 40K is probably the best thing we’ve got to a magical fantasy setting based on a technologically advanced future.

I’d really love to see more series based on the medieval fantasy setting advancing to a more contemporary setting. Mixing magic and fantasy with sci-fi and space travel.

Ummmm… Star Wars???

Well… You could say Star Wars is kinda like that, although they downplay the sci-fi elements a lot.

Except for the midichlorians.

I like the Bosmer. They look more like the Morrowind’s one. Also more wild dan dangerous. I like that.

I just hope they actually devour the corpse of the enemy they slay like they are supposed to. Skyrim is a less civilized place than Cyrodiil.

Also some pretty gay news.

Yay! Now hopefully nobody tries to boycott the game because of this :hmph: .

What are you talking about? At this point, they could be looking at a lawsuit if they didn’t add it.

“your game is homophobic because you specifically added hetrosexual marriage without homosexual that is descrimination”

Its sad because that feels like something that could happen.

However based on the way its worded it doesn’t sound like they including this as a specific thing. Sounds like they made it so that guys can marry the guys meant for girls to marry and vice-verse.
