TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

VIOLENTLY EJACULATES[/SIZE]

FTLOG MAKE IT NOVEMBER ALREADY.
DAMMIT JUST DO IT.

Thanks for this mang.

I still liek.

Hopefully Portal2 (and hopefully Black Mesa) will keep me well entertained until November of this year. There’s only a small handful of games i really want to play coming out and ESV has been once since i put down Oblivion. i stopped playing because i broke it with too many mods. The game inevitably crashes on startup and i haven’t the time (or desire) to reinstall it with all the mods i really need. After 5 years and God knows how many hours, i think i’m done. it’s not worth the 12 hours of install.

There’s only so many franchises i get any enjoyment out of. it’s too bad i have to suffer reality for 9 more months.

I don’t believe this screenie has been posted.

If thats in game :awesome:

Giant realistic hairy looking spiders FTW

Giant realistic hairy man with an axe FTW!!

Yup, in-game screenshots all around.

I’m really looking forward to this, and the features they have planned for the combat is very exciting.
Extremely exciting since proper medieval combat is just coming into the realms of do-able from a technical stand-point.

:awesome:

[23:17:51] Keresh: ye
[23:18:10] Keresh: seriously they should fix the fucking hair
[23:18:17] Keresh: even EVE has better looking hair

It wouldn’t be to much to assume that since they’ve added a good bit of customization that they have improved upon the hair.

And if they didn’t, you’ll always be able to download a million bad looking anime hairstyles until you find one you like.

i’d have killed for a barbershop in Oblivion. i was pretty thrilled that Fallout3 had barbers. Here’s hoping that Skyrim has some…or at least some way to restyle or cut one’s hair and beard. …without console codes!

What about dynamic hair? Moving? Animated beards? Jiggle-bones? Dare i say, growing!? Would that be pushing it too far?

As much as they’d be excellent… Bethesda doesn’t have the best track record for implementation of modern technologies. :frowning:

Morrowind was on the early curve of games to use a pixel shader. Was Oblivion not also on the ball with HDR? It seems they have a decent record for this type of thing.

When they think of it, I guess. Otherwise, they’re somewhat behind the curve.
